I agree with the comment above, clear ones would’ve been easier to monitor bait levels instead of having to open up every one. Also, when they suggest it’s only for small mice, they’re not kidding… I put about a dozen bait boxes around the inside perimeter of our fence, so anything from mice to Voles will get in it and unless you weight them down with rock or chunk of 2x4, you’ll find them ending up about 1 to 2 feet away from where you put them, since the larger mice are trying to fight their way out of the box after a full meal…I Just wish I could have gotten that on video, it would’ve been hilarious watching a bouncing bait box dance around 😅

Love these poison keeper containers. Perfect size and lock closed very well so no bigger animals can open. Easy to use with key for opening. I wish they provided at least 2 keys as it could be easy to lose when storing away. I have been using these for many years and will refill at least twice a year.

I ordered this set since I live in a semi-rural area and field mice are notorious for seeking shelter in homes when it gets colder.These bait stations are easy to fill, reasonably pet/child resistant, and affordable. As with any poison/chemical product, exercise caution when placing in areas where pets and/or children may come into contact with it. I would absolutely not recommend using this product in an area where any pet might be that likes to chew/gnaw on items, as these are sturdy, but not likely to survive a dog’s persistent gnawing.These hold standard size bait blocks from brands like Motomco/Tomcat, and their keys are actually interchangeable with Motomco/tomcat brand standard refillable bait stations (black plastic indoor/outdoor bait stations only, NOT decorative/rock-shaped stations).

Does a great job as I see the bait being taken. There is no visual of the bait unless the box is open. It is safe with pets, never had to worry about them getting into. The top opens with key rather easily to refill.

When I first saw this, I was so disappointed in myself. I had looked at reviews and not very closely at the product. That is on me.These are glorified mice troughs. There is nothing to keep the mice in. So far they've been able to reach in, grab the nut and walk out the other side. I haven't tried to put PB in the far corners so they actually have to squeeze all the way into the center part. Still, what stops them from turning around and walking out. This design makes no sense. Unless people have fatter mice than me. They've been getting into the dogs food via a smaller hole than that entrance.After re-reading the reviews, I now realize this is a BAIT holder and not a mouse trap. Explains a lot.

I have a set of black ones, but it infuriated me to have to keep checking them to see if there was any mouse activity or if it ran out. Not sure why clear isn't the standard. I replaced all my black ones and loaded them with fresh Tomcat and now I can visually monitor them without playing the game of opening them up. I found one that had recent activity, and I threw my electronic mouse zapper in with it and caught the rascal. A must for someone who lives out in the country were it's impossible not to have these buggers somehow fly past your feet when opening doors and get inside to seek shelter (then have babies!). Now I can keep up with my rodent control as needed with ease and piece of mind.
