3M Marine Aluminum Restorer and Polish, 09020, 18 oz, for Marine Detailing, Remove Heavy Oxidation and Chalking, 1 Tube

On my trailers aluminum windows this stuff worked so great on the chalky areas, they actually came out shining like a mirror! This stuff doesn't work on major pitting. In fact there is pitting in most areas of my windows (from exposure to salty sea air) but even getting the non-pitted areas shiny make everything look better especially when you take a few steps back. The pitting will look like corrosion (in case you don't know - the pitting is the rough parts like there is something that needs to be scraped off, the smoother "chalky white" areas will come out shiny) It did help the pitted areas some but took more buffing. Be prepared to use up ALOT of soft cloths, the junk that comes off is black.It doesn't smell that bad so you can use it indoors in my opinion and my cloths washed for reuse (stains weren't totally gone but that is ok). You will be using a good amount of "elbow grease" it takes time to get the results even - especially since my windows have screws through the metal every few inches and it's harder to get it buffed in those areas. But this is definately a good product.

With patience, this product did the job!

Product worked okay to shine up my old aluminum drift boat. Looked good for a small window and then dulled quickly. Might work better on a newer aluminum finish.

It was an expensive purchase so it needed to perform. It did. It is a pro level product and delivers excellent results. You do not need much product so the tub will last well.

My husband used this product on his boat and has been trying for years to find a product that worked. This product worked perfectly and with a little elbow grease, he was very happy with the results. You will definitely buy it again if needed.

I had an old ham radio antenna that was very dirty and oxidized. I used this and the antenna looks like new.

Did what it said it would do. Lots of rubbing, unless you have a polisher to help with the work
