Ok, so, we're a bit privacy consious. We like to ensure our private documents are shredded and any postal envolopes or shipping labels have our details and tracking barcodes removed. Our usual wepon of choice is a permanent marker but this can take time to ensure all the details are scribbled out especially when references are included multiple times.A friend suggested this Rexel ID Guard and as soon as I seen it in action I had to buy one for myself!It is really easy to use thanks to the retractable ink roller feature which keeps the stamp/roller inked. Its super easy to run it across and hide all those details now.If I'm honest I do think the price is very high for what it is. But, it is definitely time saving tool for us especially with the amount of parcels we receive. I would recommend highly for anyone who orders a lot online or can't afford a shredder.

i was so excited to receive this, finally an end to the laborious task of shredding once a month... luckily i have yet to take my shredder to the charity shop!!!bought this as a reputable brand but does not satisfactorily obscure details!!! i used it on the amazon box i received it in and i could still make out my name and address. most parcel labels are printed with a slight sheen to the words and this roller is a matt finish, so when held towards the light you can still make out the words. admittedly, you do have to look for it, but if someone wants to know your details, they’ll look for it!! seems there is still no alternative but to shred

I normally remove all labels, shred documents etc but Amazon likes to send some products in plastic bubble envelopes which make removing the label impossible.I used to use heat on the thermolabels to remove details which worked well but other packages used normal paper labels and this fixes that issue, flip it open, roll it over and your details disappear in a random pattern of letters and symbols.

Although I have a good shredder any waste from that cannot be recycled as it is too small, and can really only be used for animal bedding if you have hamsters etc.So being able to obliterate name/address etc from letters and so on means that you CAN throw them into the normal recycle bin, so this little device has meant I empty my shredder a lot less often and fill my recycle bin a lot more and for that reason alone it is worth the money !

Easy to use, just make sure the inky bit is retracted before putting away! Had this brand before & it lasted ages. Plenty of cheaper options available but I’m happy to stick with what I know. Bought 2 to get free p&p so I have a spare. Very quick delivery too, thanks.

Easy to use and provides peace of mind with ease. Roll over address labels or personal info to obscure simply and quickly. An alternative to shredding. Definitely recommend. Goof value for money.

An excellent, compact device for blanking out names/addresses/confidential information that you don't want falling into the wrong hands. I own a paper shredder but due to lack of floor space it's currently sitting unused in the bottom of my wardrobe. This new little item takes up hardly any space and I'm sure will get maximum usage. It does the job brilliantly.

This does what it says, but it will not survive a drop onto a hard surface. I had to replace mine within a week of purchase, and it is very expensive for something this fragile.
