I ordered these in the 3mm option, sadly, what came were 6mm so I'm not really that happy about this in the first place. I had a lot of things on my 'to make' list thanks to a couple of beading books I'd just bought and so ordered a seriously significant number of different bugle beads from assorted suppliers at the same time, most of which had no delivery note in so I had to trawl through my orders to try to identify what was what, which was somewhat time consuming, especially when things arrived in dribs and drabs over a two month time period, and because of that I didn't actually realise I'd been sent the wrong size until it was too late to do anything about it. When Pandahall first entered the UK market selling beads and jewellery supplies, they were a reasonable quality and a good price for what they were, but over time I've noticed that the quality has gone down and the price has gone up, significantly, and in a lot of cases, matching or even more expensive that the vastly superior Czech and Japanese beads, and I was so disappointed with my last lot of seed beads from Pandahall (which were a lot more expensive than the Japanese beads, but the only option in the colour I wanted), I simply stopped buying them. These are okay, for what they are, I would say cheap and cheerful, but they aren't cheap, and the beads vary in colour, length and diameter quite a lot, so if you want to put the beads next to each other, say in ladder stitch or loom work, the differences are glaringly obvious and really not suitable. Really not worth the money...

These are as expected - fine for crafts or introducing children / adults to beadwork.Great selection of colours and can be threaded on .8mm micro-macrame thread and with encouragement on 1mm. Yes, some are a bit irregular and some holes are slightly smaller than others but to be fair the item photographs did show this - that caused my 4*. At less than .5p per 2 beads common sense will say that these are not going to be top quality.They aren't much good for fine beadwork but I didn't buy them for that. I use my much pricier Japanese brands, which are x10 the cost and more!

I was quite unimpressed with the size of the beads themselves as some of the inner holes are evidently smaller than advertised. I noted that some of the beads broke quite easily and this was a real disappointment, as for the price, I did expect a lot better. I found some of the shapes to be non-uniform in nature and this again made finishing a project quite difficult.

Some of the beads have the inner hole smaller than the 0.6 mm advertised, which means when you pass your needle some of them will break in your hands - watch your pets!!!! A small project that got so delayed trying to find the right beads the needle could pass through. Very difficult to find such beads with the hole bigger than 0.6 mm, the alternative is to buy those special embroidery needles, but even they can break in your hands.

All of the beads are 'about 4mm' as the description says and the holes are quite large. The beads aren't uniform but the colours are great, though some of my mint green and light grey have speckles of another colour on them. For the price I'm not complaining, I will find uses for them.

Just what I wanted. Nice colours, nice quality and fast delivery. Good value for money. Glad it comes in a sturdy box as well

I used the beads for Prick and Stitch carding and whilst the beads themselves were very good it would have be great to have had a better range of colours (eg orange, purple or pink) rather than three blues!

Can’t rate this highly enough. I love it! Just hoping I don’t tip the box over!!!!!!!!!
