This set is the best for a beginner it had every single thing you’ll need. The resin is very clear and it’s easy to get the bubbles out with a heat gun but because it was my first time I didn’t use the correct method and one of the molds had some bubbles. Great quality and I made beautiful designs. I made several skull resins from the amount of resin I got it was more than I thought. When I didn’t use heat it took 8 hours to demold and about 24 hours to dry but when I used the heat gun it took me 3 hours to demold the resin. Everything was easy for me to use and I am a beginner. The resin was a little thick but when I used the heat gun it was less thick.

Love this crystal clear and fast drying resin. I can do art items with it clear or add color, or refinish damaged furniture tops, and more. So far am very happy with the ease of use, 1:1 easy mix, and it has worked on 2 major projects very well. The colors included are great, a wide range with glitter size options and disperses quickly and well. Have to work as instructed, there is odor (ventilation) but not as bad as some, and patience with smooth action keeps bubbling down. Easy to apply multiple thin coats after each coat dries (about 24-36 hrs super thin coats, but can be dry enough to paint on overnight if thin.) Thicker coats need up to 3 days to dry fully. Excellent to bring out beautiful natural wood grains and protect the wood. *do not apply too heavily at once even for thick coats, as it will drip. Less is more, but spread well initially, and wait a couple hours if shaping or use a hair dryer or art dryer.

I used this last night and thought to myself, "Oh I don't need gloves, I'm only making 2 ounces. I'll use the included silicone stirring stick and cups and I'll be just fine because I'm careful and don't make messes." Wrong! By the time I was done mixing, stirring, pouring, picking up and setting down the cups and stirring stick repeatedly, I had it all over my hands. I hollered out to, Alexa in desperation on how to remove epoxy resin from my hands! Thankfully it wasn't totally dried, so I was able to remove it with Dawn and a scrub daddy. You must also scrub it off the reusable silicone stirring stick as well if you plan on reusing it. The kit is FANTASTIC and literally comes with EVERYTHING you need including a disposable apron, gloves, drop cloth, cups, and much, much more. Instructions are right on top, and easy to follow and understand. You get alot for a very fair price. There's a good amount of mica powder too. Make sure to mix, and pour slowly to avoid air bubbles. A heat gun or torch lighter is good to have on hand to instantly remove any air bubbles that surface after pouring. Don't be like me, definitely wear gloves, and definitely order this kit.

This starter kit has all you need. Great deal at a good price. It was my first time making resin art and this kit made it easy. The quality is amazing, in 6 hours my project was already hardened. Im no expert and like I said it was my first time but Im so happy with the results. I will definitely keep making resin art.

Wow! This expoy resin kit is a really great value for the money especially in this day and age! I would definitely say it was more on the beginner’s side of crafting but that’s just fine by me. They give you plenty of colors and cups because lord knows I make a mess every step of the way! Good instructions are given on how to mix the epoxy and hardener! Very satisfied with this product!
