Very nice dresser!
This is a very good dresser! When delivered, the box weighs about 130 pounds so keep that in mind, it is very heavy. However, the UPS guy was wonderful & helped my husband with getting it in the house. It was easy to assemble (as long as you have a power drill) but it does take a while because there are so many pieces. My husband put together the frame while I put the drawers together & it took us about 2 and a half hours but that’s mainly because we had to share his power drill. You can put it together with a screwdriver but it’ll take longer & it’s a lot harder. As long as you follow the directions you’ll be fine. It’s not 100% sturdy but it’s definitely sturdy enough & adding clothes in it will help. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase & the quality. I highly recommend!!

A great dresser for the nursery!
Bought this a few months before our daughter was born for the nursery, and now she’s 6 months old and we’ve been using it for a while, and we love it!We live in a fairly small house so the bedrooms are really small, and this fit perfectly! It’s not a massive dresser, but fits all the clothes we’re currently using and some towels, sheets, etc. It’s pretty sturdy, but light enough that I can move it by myself. Came scratch free and the assembly instructions were pretty straightforward. It did take a couple hours to assemble, but wasn’t any more complex than any other piece of furniture you buy in a box.Definitely recommend if the dimensions are the size you’re looking for!

It’s good but…
Set up was easy. It took me (by myself) just under two hrs but when you are attaching the back (J and M labeled pieces) it gets a bit wonky. Also I had two pieces labeled G and no H (one was H just mislabeled ). I would recommend taking your time to make sure you are working with the correct piece and not it’s inverse piece. Also be careful to properly assemble the drawer slides (I found it easy but could also see how it could get confusing). Once assembled it looks pretty nice and is sturdy. I can’t figure out where all the reviews stating it is not sturdy are coming from. The packing was kind of crap and the top of my unit came damaged but nothing too bad. Just filled the ding with wood filler and touched it up with a dab of white paint and it it virtually unnoticeable but be aware and check each piece for damage before you assemble. Also, it should be noted that they provide the exact amount of hardware (can locks and bolts, dowels, screws etc) so be careful not to lose anything! Normally these assemble furniture companies provide a few extras or have every part in in a plastic case/ bubble but not the case here…you get exactly what you need and they are loose in bags so just be mindful of that. Finally, I’d say if you can have a second set of hands to help with the assembly steps I mentioned above it would be helpful…if not have something to wedge under those parts while they are floating so they don’t break (you will see what I mean when you get to those steps)’…bizarre)

Pay attention to directions
The media could not be loaded. Honest Review! I bought 2 of these for each of my boys. I originally wasn't going to buy these because of the negative reviews saying drawers catch and them not lining up. But I'm glad I went for it anyway. I was fully prepared to fix holes accordingly if they didn't match up, but I didn't have to. I followed the directions to the T and they came out beautifully. My drawers don't catch, they're very smooth, and quiet; which is a must since it's for my 1 year old and baby on the way. Use a power tool if you'd like a flush design. It takes way longer to do by hand and your hands will absolutely hurt after putting it together. The drawers on the left and right are different and won't line up if you put one in the other. I also used wood glue when inserting the pegs just as a precaution so I know it'll hold up better and last longer. The package is also extremely heavy! Ask someone for help with moving it and assembly if you can! I hope this helps anyone else who is on the fence about buying it because of poor reviews!

Ended up in the dump
I'm sad to be writing this review, because I just wrote one for a different Storkcraft dresser that turned out great. This one, however, was a complete disaster. The big difference between these was that for the other one, I took everything out of the box but didn't assemble it right away. By the time I was ready to assemble, I couldn't find the written instructions. So, I had to Google them and found instructions on YouTube. They were clear and I assembled the dresser easily. With this one, I used the written instructions, and they were horrible. To be clear, there are no words, just pictures. Some of the pieces in the pictures are backward from what they're supposed to be (i.e., the "screw hole" pictured should be on the other side). (They're not really screws, but I don't know what they're called so I'm just using that word.) Also, they kept flipping the pieces upside down and/or backward from one step to the next. I had to examine each picture at each step extremely carefully to see which direction it was facing -- sometimes the only clue would be a small cutout, or a screw hole that was showing in the last picture but wasn't showing in the current one, meaning the unit had been turned around.Overall, it was extremely confusing. By the time I got the unit assembled and the drawers put together, the drawers wouldn't go in. Obviously I had done something wrong during the assembly. So, I tried to take it apart to try again, and the entire thing just broke. The little metal pieces and dowels ripped apart the flimsy particle board before I could even get the pieces apart. Of course, I knew these pieces were particle board due to the price, but it just wasn't strong enough to hold up when being taken apart. So, if you do decide to buy this piece (or any other by Storkcraft based on my experience), I highly recommend skipping the written instructions altogether and going straight to YouTube. Frankly, even those are a bit annoying (I really don't need to be shown how to turn a screwdriver EVERY SINGLE TIME a screw needs to be used), but at least they are clear and the first dresser went together no problem.Unfortunately, this one ended up a mess and went straight to the dump. Lesson learned.
