Awesome product. Allowed me to fix lights that were discontinued allowing me to save the client from replacing 50something fixtures due to me not being able to replace the two I fixed. Had to purchase a driver for it as well. Always replace the thermal paste to attach it to the heat sink.

the LED Chip works as advertised. no issues and well packaged.

I've purchased 4 of these over a period of just over 3 years. Unfortunately, the 4th purchase was to replace the 1st purchase which failed after a little over 3 years of use which equates to around 2500 - 3000 hours of on time. The LED was installed in an appropriate heat-sink enclosure using good-quality thermal paste so I would have expected a longer lifespan. I have more of these in use so will be monitoring whether they also fail prematurely.

Very hot small single point of heat will fail preaturely unless a good heatsink is used.

Used to repair a unit that had failed just outside guarantee. Saved a lot money I would have spent replacing whole light unit. Good bargain.
