Work great on my mini bike with predator engine.

The first oil change on my Predator 5000 was a mess and showed me nothing regarding engine wear. For the second oil change, I purchased this magnetic dip stick plug. Again, the oil change was a mess but the dip stick told me what I needed to know. The magnet tip had collected gritty metal shavings that shows wear and are suspended in the oil. And since there is no oil filter, it's better than nothing.

These work great for capturing and removing loose metal shavings that naturally accumulate in the oil tank during engine operation. I just wish they had marks to measure the oil level.

Very good I epoxied a magnet to the tip and it collects the metal grit which keeps the engine lasting much longer as long as you clean every few uses. Length good, it is hot when you use the engine so wait till cool. Good vaule for money

at my first oil change I pulled it out to find that the magnet had fallen off INSIDE the oil pan. Luckily I was able to use a second magnetic dipstick to get it out (after running the engine a few minutes). not worth the risk. I bought 4 and am tossing them all.

I got these for two predator generators. One 3500 and one 5000, both inverter generators. I put these in for the engine break in. I was amazed at how much metal collected during a short time. Having these plugs should give the motor a long life. They work fine and the oring seals good with no leaks.

Magnet on the end of the lipstick falls right off. It must be staked or glued in place to use or it will damage your engine because the lipstick itself is aluminum and non magnetic so it won't stay on its own.
