I've been looking for retractable box cutters that automatically retracts when not cutting. These didn't say specifically on the website if it did or not but to my surprise, it has two functions! If you want it to automatically retract, don't push the blade out all the way. If you want the blade to stay sticking out, push the blade all the way until it clicks. My husband didn't really think they'd be useful but I find him grabbing it more than his fancy box cutters 😅. Since it comes in a pack of 3, I keep one in our miscellaneous drawer (most used one), 1 in the bedroom and one by the mail organizer. It's been my go to for opening any letter or packages. I don't have to use scissors or knives anymore nor do I have to go look in my husband's tool box for a box cutters. These are tiny but handy! Get 'em!

I bought these for work because it was advertised as a box cutter but the blade is quite small. I'd say this is more of a letter opener. They are cute though so I'll still use them for that I guess.
