POC, Omne Air MIPS Bike Helmet for Commuting and Road Cycling

I tried many helmets from POC, Bell, Sweet Protection, Bern, and Kask. The POC helmets are exceptional in terms of comfort, materials quality, fit, and design.I needed a helmet for mainly commuting and road riding, and I have a slim complexion that benefits from a low profile. Most helmets look pretty goofy on me.This one was the most seamless and low profile of all I tried, and also the most comfortable, only rivaled by the more expensive Bell helmet.I recommend trying as many as you can, but rest assured I've tried them all and POC helmets live up to the recommendation.Sizing was true to my expectation—I usually wear a medium, and the M/L was on-point. I find most helmets are uncomfortable when pressure is applied from different directions. This one felt snug in place and perfectly padded.Aesthetics are 8/10 for me. You may or may not like the traditional / clean look, and I don't love the back + over-prominent graphics, but still it looked best on me of all I tried.

Update: My son continues to race both track and road using this helmet. It's his practice helmet for the track and his go to for road training and racing. I purchased our 3rd one yesterday because we had another crash resulting in a split helmet. The helmet is busted but my kid walked away with no head injury. This helmet did it's job. Worth EVERY penny.My son races on the velodrome and road in this Helmet. Crashes happen in cycling races (we learned this last year with a split helmet) so knowing he is in a great quality helmet is of utmost importance. I feel a lot more comfortable with him in a MIPS helmet built by one of the most respected helmet brands. I know they have to meet the same standards of certification as others but in looking at a lot of helmets there are only a few that really stand out for quality. The fit is amazingly adjustable. His mother has completed several classes in helmet fitting and loves how simple getting a proper fit is with this helmet. He likes that the helmet is VERY comfortable and that this bright purple can be seen from anywhere on the track!

Looks good, proven protection, bear in mind that MIPS affect the size, take 1 size larger if you are at the edge of this size.

Very comfortable and nice shape.

Had to replace a Bontrager that was in a crash. Tried another Bontrager but it just didn't fit right. This helmet fit perfect. I have a smaller head but needed a longer chin strap and the Bontrager's strap just wasn't long enough. This fits my head perfectly and I was able to adjust the chin strap to the length I needed. Ventilation was awesome to the point where my head actually felt cold. Very happy with this purchase.

The overall fit of the Poc helmet seems pretty good. The odd thing is the adjustable straps. They are difficult to adjust and come down from an odd angle. I believe they over engineered the strap adjuster which makes it very hard getting a proper fit. Seller is fine.
