Perfect Concept for Cat Safety/Relaxation and Exceptional Service from this Supplier
I have to start by saying that this cat tree is such a brilliant idea. I have offset the different levels of the panels to more of an angle (rather than straight and opposing), so that they can more easily jump up to the higher levels. It's the perfect solution if you have a puppy who wants to play with cats who would rather not at the time. The two cats immediately made themselves at home, especially the more nervous one, who loves it at the top. I was a little unsure whether the shelves would be wide enough, but the cats seem very relaxed up there, and are happy to sit or lie down and doze off. This is really pleasing, as it's as comfortable as it is serviceable. It's a very elegant arrangement, so easy to put together. The supplier also emailed us instructions ahead of its arrival, so that on the day I knew exactly how to fix it. It's easy, took about ten minutes. The spring-loaded top tubing was perfect in height, needed no adjustment, and there is a spare and a longer tube for those with higher ceilings. We sited our's in the hall, and it looks amazing, such a talking-point. There are three items already in place on the shelves for the cats to play with: two mice and a fluffy ball,The supplier has been exceptional - well above average customer service. They have been so helpful, everything was received in perfect condition, and communications have been wonderful. Our puppy decided it was good to chew the corner, and they very kindly replaced the panel which had been chewed, and quickly too.If you're unsure what you need, there are options to wall-mount steps and beds, but they were going to mean a lot of disruption and mark the walls, and we weren't sure the cats would then use them. I am so pleased we chose this item. It does everything you need, in providing a comfortable safe space, and I can highly recommend it because it's a flexible arrangement. Our ceiling has stippling on it, and the most important thing is that it still fits beautifully and safely.

Cats enjoyed this cat tree.
Just to confirm, I bought this item in 2021 and it has a strong spring loaded top to secure against the ceiling, it has a broad square base and when the tree is stood up and the spring released its then secure by the action of being unable to slide out of position in the same way that a pillar between to floors canât fall over as itâs wedged. But reviewing some recent reviews it seems the construction may have changed since I bought it, so when I can Iâm going to add some photographs. I suggest reading some recent purchase reviews for present construction quality.I placed this in the corner of the room beside a 6â4â writing beurea and put carpet on top, the cats scramble about the tree then climb off it into the burea, from that across a walkway shel onto another cupboard book shelf and so on.Itâs withstood a strong heavy cat throwing himself around on it and another whoâs joined the family, so itâs sturdy with some give, Iâve had no problems with this item and the cats appreciate it so Iâm pleased I bought it for them. It involves some minor adjustments to fit your ceiling size so make sure you measure several times before you alter its height with a cut.

Design could be improved but very good
So, we bought this tree as phase one of catifying our living room wall. It was very easy to assemble, no drilling required in its most basic form, and went up in 10 minutes. It's very good quality, I can't really fault the actual tree and it's been a huge hit with my cats. So far it's only been tried out by my 3.5kg cat, but it held her weight well and no wobbling. I have a 6kg tub-cat so will update with how he fares!!Now, the only reason I wanted to leave a review was to tell you that the spring loaded mechanism is not brilliant. The spring isn't THAT solid and it didn't grip out ceiling as well as I hoped. We also had to do a bit of 'bodgery'. The instructions will tell you to cut a piece of tube from the assortment given, to measure 1 inch more than the gap between the last post and the ceiling. Ignore that. The tension with just 1 inch is rubbish and it will fall down under even just a little pressure. We had a gap of 3.5inch, and just used the medium size tube without cutting. I think it measured at over 5 inches. This will give you much stronger tension. I think if whatever height you ceiling is, if you give yourself 2 extra inches instead of just 1 you will find it a lot sturdier. They also give you a little bracket to sure up the post and you can drill this to the wall. We will be doing this, as I think even the extra tension wont be up to holding my fat cats weight. All in all, it's a great product and looks exactly how I imagined it would. It just needs a little tweaking to make it soliid.**Update** Hooray! It does indeed hold our biggest cats, together no less!y My two ginger cats have a combined weight of around 11-12kg, and it held them quite comfortably, they even had a playfight on it. It did wobble a bit, and one cat decided to squeeze through the gap between the wall and the platform which did push the whole thing into misalignment so it will move if you haven't secured it to the wall. But all in all, it will hold the weight well.
