Updated: Using PC through mixer for Karaoke. Excellent value.
We're not professional musicians, so please read this review as one written from the point of view of someone who just sings casually and for fun. First, our family really wanted to be able to have a karaoke machine that didn't cost additional money for each song. With the plethora of karaoke tracks on YouTube, it seemed that all one really needed was a mixer. This is that mixer. As an added bonus, it does key changes, has echo and multiple settings for balancing instrumental and vocal. As far as quality, I think it's great. The key changer does what a key changer should and there is no hiss or distortion. The volume, delay, repeat and echo controls work fine, as does the mic volume. While we did get some buzzing from one of the wired microphones we used, we didn't get that with another set of wireless microphones, leading me to believe the issue is with the microphone and not the mixer. For setup, the PC is hooked through the VocoPro and then to the stereo receiver. The microphones go through the VocoPro. Video is hooked (HDMI in this case) directly to the TV. Because PCs usually separate the audio and video this setup is ideal. (If your TV accepts audio HDMI from the PC, your operating system should allow you to choose to send it to the mixer/stereo instead.) All in all, a good buy.

Poor sound quality, ridiculous price
I am not sure if I received a defective unit. However, the microphone voice is very very small even I turned all volume control knob to the maximum. Also, the sound is distorted. The sound quality is even much worse than my other effector which only cost me about $100. Even I turn all the volume to minimum, I can still hear a strong electric current noise. I once believe you get what you paid for. However, not all pricing is reasonable. I thought a $389 unit should give me the decent sound quality, but I am totally wrong. Buyers, please read all low rating review and think twice before your ignore them.

Microphone mixing
Overall performance is ok. Microphone output is not as powerful as music source though.

VocoPro team responded quickly and fixed the product (Product no longer works (9 months old) )
Update: Vocopro team was very responsive, and provided me a RMA to get this shipped to them. We split shipping evenly between us, and they fixed the box and had it back to me in less than 2 weeks. it works well now!---Bought a vocopro da-2000 on 24-jul - less than 9 months ago. It worked well for the first few months, and then has degraded quickly to where it only provides output in one channel, and behaves strangely after about 10-15 minutes of running, in the best case scenario. I had to take it offline - but of course now dont have key control capability - which is what was the reason for buying this expensive box. Trying to reach to vocopro to see if we can get whatever is causing it to not work to be fixed (blown capacitor, etc) - has had no luck. No response from the manufacturer.I will keep my review updated - if i do hear back from them, even if the issue is not resolved. But it feels, for now, that i bought from a company that does not stand behind its products - dump and run - or at least does not have infrastructure and processes to provide support.Unrelated to this issue, there is a constant hum from the mic ports as well. Tried loop isolation, shorter, better cables, but no luck.---

It works great.
Your sound depends on your system and your microphone. Without those 2 it really doesn’t matter what kind of mixer you have. This mixer is simple and allows you to adjust your echo repeat and delay. Also you are able to adjust the bass and treble on your mic and music. But if you have a cheap receiver and speakers than the sound would not be good regardless

A lot of static coming out of speakers..
I couldn't seem to get rid of the static that was coming out of the speakers when not playing music or karaoke... I added ground loop isolators on the incoming from my laptop & out going to the amp and still a lot of static...I have a VocoPro 1000 and there is no static when I hook that to my equipment...The VocoPro 1000 sounds very clear because there is no static....I even called VocoPro and they told me it could be my cables, but I told them I don't have a problem when I'm using my VocoPro 1000, So that eliminated the cables... So, I returned it for a full refund....

Great and reliable mixer I just bought it to upgrade ...
Great and reliable mixer I just bought it to upgrade my 10 years old DA-1000. Both have the same quality only different size and price. If you on budget take the DA-1000 it half price of the DA-2200 but the sound quality is exactly the same and it very reliable; I used it over 10 years it still run good. Now I 'm just bored with my DA-1000 to get the DA-2200.
