It's exactly what it says it is. Ten pounds of cast iron. I'm not actually using this for rucking; instead I'm using it as a base for a couple of security cams in our dog room. I don't intend to move these cameras, but I don't want to attach them permanently to furniture or kennels. Basically I needed something to which I could mount the cameras that has enough heft to keep the cameras from moving around when the dogs jiggle them, so I can set up presets to view specific dog crates. Works great for that! The finish is smooth enough that adhesive strips stick to it firmly, too.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Do you need a budget friendly 10 pound plate for your ruck sack or general shenanigans? Boy, are you in luck! This IS one!The weight is pretty accurate, only off by a tiny amount in the case of the one I got (which is pretty common for weight plates). The size is good, too. It fits in my ruck sack perfectly, and it works well as a hand weight.This is a great option.

Not really too much to say here. It’s a 30 pound weight plate. It fits into my Frontline Athletic 2.0 ruck bag just fine. It looks to be made well. It will help with my ruck workouts and the price was fair.

Great price and perfect fit for my GoRuck pocket. However, 3 different scales around the house had it 1.25-2.25 pounds overweight; imprecision not a problem for my usage, but know that you may not get 45 lb. on the nose.
