It is okay for budget gifting. As for the material itself is not solid brass. The elephant base is hollow and structurally weak. The upper bowl is somewhat heavy, which creates a balance issue. The finishing could be improved. The screw used to attach the bowl to the base is visible, indicating it is not a true brass artifact finish.

It looks very good and is sturdy too but golden foil has started peeling off from one of the four elephants I bought

Packaging was bad. Product is good. Bought it for gift but couldn’t give it because of torn box.
