Fits like a glove in my Honeywell F25F1000 filter housing. The furnace seems to run shorter cycles times with this merv 8 filter, I had a merv 11 paper filter in it but they are becoming to expensive for my pocket book. This trophy air filter seems great at keeping the dust down or else I would be sneezing. The trophy air filter is quality made and should last a long time. I'll be saving money in the long run with this washable filter. Update 3 months after installed with a cold winter in Wisconsin, this is the best furnace filter I ever used. I did not wash this filter yet, and there is less dust in the house than if using expensive paper filter.

for $123 this is a piece of very poor workmanship. I was appalled when I opened it. It looks like kid put it together. The rivets are popping out at the corners, it has no mesh screen over either side, the measurements are wrong : instead of 16x25, it's 15 3/8" high so it doesnt stay upright in the slot for the filter on my furnace, the folds of the filter are all uneven and crooked. I would like to return for one with a mesh screen over the folds of the filter on both sides, even folds of the filter, correct size of 16" not 15 3/8" x25x 4 5/8" with secure rivets. Again, I would be ashamed to send this out and have the audacity to charge over $100 for it. Now if you want to refund $100 of the $123 price, I will not return and keep it as is, but I am so disappointed.

Easy to clean

It was the right size and it fit perfectly. Not like these others would claim to be the right size then turn out to be smaller.

I purchased a 16 x 25 x 4 last spring. This is a quality unit. Sturdy. It lets air flow better than the previous disposable filters. I wash it out every 3 months in the shower and let it dry and drip out. I am saving money and I think it is better for our AC and heat. People use the filter as a home filter and they are too tight. They don't allow enough air flow. Causing the system to work too hard and run too long. Very happy with the purchase and I recommend replacing your disposalble filter asap.

I contacted the company via email first to get the exact dimensions of the 16x24x4 filter. I promptly got a response and when received it fit perfectly. Also asked which direction you spray water through it to clean it out and it can be in either direction.

So far so good.
