Used for watching Roku / Fire stick content on a Windows laptop (via OBS Studio app). Works well for this purpose so I can watch Netflix, Prime, BBC iPlayer etc in a campervan and use the Roku/Firestick remote control to select content.

This video capture card works brilliantly with a mac. I bought this specifically to digitise old camcorder tapes. My set up was composite cables out of the camera into a composite to hdmi converter. From there I added a hdmi cable intothe converter and the capture card and then used the usb c connection in the capture card straight into my mac studio. I used Quicktime player and set that to do a 'new movie recording'. I selected the capture card from the available list of options, clicked record and then started playback of the tapes from my camcorder. This method works perfectly. I also tried connecting my Switch 2 to the capture card and used the same setting in Quicktime but didn't hit record and this allowed me to use my mac to display my Switch 2 games.

I got this for £20 so I could make silly little console gaming videos. The video quality as far as I can tell is stable 1080p60fps. It does get hot but not enough to bother me or burn my house down or melt my furniture. It has an audio jack in the event your screen doesn't have speakers, but theres no volume control. My biggest complaint is that there's some kind of audio interference happening that causes the audio to pop on the recording. That kinda sucks. Definitely would get a more expensive one if I was doing this professionally or for streaming.There is no lag but once in a while it won't communicate with OBS properly and you'll record a still image for 20 minutes. I'm not upset about it at all.

Excellent! Very easy to use and works straight out of the box!

No Windows software from the manufacturer, tried installing OBS and followed all the instructions, Live image is clear but very delayed so useless for gaming, and for some reason it's horribly blurry when it saving to disk so useless for streaming/recording. This device is therefore unsuitable for any use-case.

As someone who likes to stream this is the perfect capture card for its value with good audio quality. The capture card doesn’t heat up too much depending on what your using it for and the resolution itself is good but I haven’t notice any lag even though if your a streamer it might be a tiny bit behind but overall it’s good.

I was a bit of child and wanted to play my pc games on the quest 3 headset, HDMI out from the laptop connect to this card and straight into the Quest 3. No problems after I switched to laptop screen to external monitor.60fps clear picture and audio on a huge screen displayed inside the Quest 3.The only problem was power to the quest 3 headset, the is not the video capture cards fault as it functioned well, but for the cost and curiosity, it works well.

Xbox series x -> hdmi 4k120hz splitter -> this device -> streamlabs/obs on pc. Result: 1080p, detecting smooth 30fps no video problems. AUDIO NOT DETECTED AT ALL. Idea was to record party/discord audio to bypass privacy restrictions. Failed.I tested other usb capture card as well with same setup and result was no video but audio detected...
