I bought this because TikTok made me do it lol. I kept seeing videos showing how it could make white socks look “extra white,” and since I only wear white socks, of course I had to try it. I followed all the steps people were showing, and honestly the results look more dramatic on video than in real life. When you soak the socks, the white turns kind of yellowish, and then when you add the hydrogen peroxide it goes back to white… so it creates that illusion of a big transformation, but it’s not as crazy as it seems. Then I started researching a little more and realized this chemical is definitely not designed for that kind of use and can actually be dangerous. So I stopped right there. I’d rather have slightly yellow socks than risk my health. Now, the product itself arrived perfect. It came sealed, labeled with all the proper warnings, and nothing was leaking or damaged. You can tell the manufacturer follows all the safety requirements. The issue isn’t the product the product is fine, it’s the unsafe “hacks” people post online. If you’re going to use it for the right and safe purposes, it’s probably great. It just depends on each person and how wise we want to be with our health.

Like a lot of people I was mesmerized by the ability to get anything clean using these chemicals unfortunately, what I saw on the TikTok videos was very different than my experience. It still came out cleaner than what it had been before, but it was not crystal clean.

Bought this after I watched a video where it helped to whiten clothing. Did not work!

I followed the directions to whitening a shirt that had followed but it definitely didn't work as well as the ideas that I watched. Tried different ratios of and different peroxide since strength but was not a noticeable difference.
