Works perfectly in Tower Rapide Chef pressure cooker.
I bought this sealing ring for my 20 or 30 year old Tower Rapide Chef stainless 6l pressure cooker (numbers stamped on the bottom are 0251 and ref 4355).The old gasket had shrunk and I didn’t realise how poorly it was working until I fitted this new one - it fitted perfectly and came up to pressure almost immediately with no leaks whatsoever. I have only used it with boiling water in the pot, but I have no reason to think that it won’t work when cooking. It cost a lot more than some others, but I thought I’d try it. I couldn’t find a sealing ring which was marked as suitable for a Tower stainless pressure cooker on the Tower website. Very happy so far.

Good as new
My wife 'accidentally' burnt the original on the gas hob, but this is a perfect replacement. I hope it doesnt happen again, else I'll have to get a replacement wife, which will be significantly more expensive.

22cm diameter is the internal diameter
This fits my WMF Perfect pressure cooker. Nowhere could I find anything to say whether the quoted diameter is internal or external but I took a punt and it proved right, so be aware that 22cm is the internal diameter of the ring.

Fits 22cm diameter Amazon Basics Stainless Steel 4-litre Pressure Cooker
Amazon no longer stock the replacement sealing gasket for their Amazon Basics Stainless Steel Pressure Cooker. This seal from WMF feels a bit loose but it works well - no leaks. It is expensive at £16. There is the Tefal Secure 5 Neo 22 cm sealing gasket (also £16) which looks very similar but I've haven't ordered or tried it on my Amazon pressure cooker.

A good spare part
This is my second replacement gasket since I bought the pressure cooker in 2009, so they have a good working life. The gasket was leaking a bit but still functional. However, Ive put a new one in and now it's working perfectly again.
