Great Yoga Retreats, 2nd Ed.: JU Hardcover – Illustrated, 17 Aug. 2017

This book is simply fantastic the retreats look like my dreams come true but sadly my wallet tells me that dreams are all they will ever be. The book itself is well laid out the photos are wonderful the description of the retreats is just enough to get you thinking IE what Yoga classes .food . even what instructors. just yoga ? just meditation ? or both a look around temples a nice swim its all up to you. Even sitting on your sofa at home with just the book will make you feel on top of the world. Well i have the book. All Yogis should buy it. And a man can Dream cant he ....?

My friend' birthday present. The cover inspired her and she won a yoga contest afterwards. :)

I actually believe that this book should come with a warning!This is a big, heavy book and looks great on the coffee table so that your friends can obtain a glimpse into what you do (or for some of us, maybe I should say 'dream of doing'!). The format just oozes quality and inspiration: each location is headed by just a couple of paragraphs of text and then lots of photographs - a single, quality photograph says much more than a dozen pages of text, don't you think?Once you start to scan through the beautiful, full-colour photographs you really will want to pack your passport and head off. You may have to sell your house, give up your job and embark into the unknown, but (be warned) if you pick up this book you may well be tempted!Om shanti, shanti, shanti......

Such a wonderfull book to sit down with, have a nice cup of tea and dream to your hearts content. The photos are beautifully done and the information in the book is as such that you could immediately book your own trip to the yoga places mentioned if you wish. In the back of the book is a list with all the websites of the yoga holidays and retreats mentioned in the book and for every location there even is a recommendation as to which book to pack suitable for that trip. A very nice touch indeed. I am impatiently waiting for a follow up of this book!

Shame about the American slant but useful interesting book full of useful ideas to consider when planning a new kitchen.
