Tank Pre-Cut Car Compatible with Pinewood Derby Cars

I did not expect a sanded finish product. I did expect something a bit better. My issues are the rear axle cut is crooked so that when the nails are driven in for the wheel axle the wheels do face straight, but at an canted angle so the car does not go straight per se but the rear part of the wheel is close to the body and the forward part of the same wheel further out. I have to recut the axle line. The cuts themselves to form the body are rushed and not even or symmetrical. The forward and rearward slopes are crooked. It would be like having a 45 degree angle on the right and a 60 degree on the left. These are things I can kind of file, sand, and fix except it is a paid for product. A quick look at it would have seen everything cut askew and crooked and it is just a bit disappointing. I like the turret and rudimentary look, but I would never mail out a crooked axle and both slope areas cut crooked to a customer.

Everything was great. It is a cool design. We painted the car then raced it in the scout derby. Of course it didn't win, tanks aren't usually known for their speed ;) But it was a lot of fun. My son enjoys playing with here a year later!

Good for cub scouts pine wood derby car. Races well and can add paint or even crayons. You can be creative and add weights as something decorative such as ammo crates.

Product arrived quickly but bottom of the block was cracked. We glued it and all was fine.
