Haven't tried it out yet but definitely looks the business and half the price of others.

During Summer and Autumn there are few things I enjoy more than a few hours fishing on the beach or the occasional boat trip around the coastline. I really like using Lures for Bass fishing on brighter days in clear water where I can often see the fish chasing the lures before they are hooked.This DR Fish Top Water lure does look very lifelike and is especially useful when fishing over weed beds where a sinking lure would be constantly getting caught up or covered in blanket weed. Like any artificial lure it will only be successful when used where the fish are active and present. First time out using this lure from a small boat I noticed that the seabirds were diving for baitfish and within moments of me allowing the boat to drift into that area I had a fish on the lure straight away.In the water this lure certainly reflects the sunlight well and with a little practice it looks very lifelike while it is being retrieved. It will also dip under the surface easily with the rod tip low to the water. I tend to find that varying the movement of lures as they work across the surface can be very effective.It has a steel wire running through the inside of the lure which connects the point where it is tied to the line to both treble hooks which is reassuring. This means that even if the body of the lure were to break in half the hooks are unlikely to pull free from the angler's line.In summary this is in my opinion a well made, effective fishing lure. It is not the cheapest but taking into account the realistic scale pattern, quality of the hooks and overall build quality I feel it is worth buying. I'd personally rather pay a bit more for something which I am confident using rather than spend that same money for a selection of lures which look uninspiring. Recommended.

My husband has recently taken up sea fishing and is always losing his expensive lures so I decided to grab this. He said this lure is a copy of a Patchinko, a really good big size lure for bass fishing which is what he fishes for - either casting from shore or a on paddle board. The lure is 26g so is weighted well and he can get a good cast using his Penn regiment 3 piece.The lure seems well made, hooks are sharp and look OK. He's not had a chance to properly test yet. But will update my review soon once it's tested fully.
