Had this case on 2 months. This case is very durable and is soooo much better than the samsung cases. If your looking for a good reliable case for the Z fold 5, this is the one for you. It looks good in person and feels good to hold too. Also the kickstand comes in handy and nothing has broken or fallen off and that's saying alot because I dropped this phone so many times already with this case on, the price seals the deal for me. Easy to remove and clean. A little thick if I had to nitpick but overall no problems. The edge guard is strongly magnetized and wont stratch the phone, and it's not hard to open or close the phone either, it's actually easier in my opinion. I'm just curious as to why it's a better quality case than the Samsung cases. About 6 month update. Slight crack in top corner of case and kickstand is loose but case still does its job great.

I loved this phone case that I ordered for my husband. I was looking for a sturdy and durable case due to his heavy-duty work, something that could properly protect the phone from drops and impacts and help avoid any unpleasant accidents. I really like its design, the quality of the materials, and the level of protection it provides to the device. Highly recommended!

This is my 2nd ZFold and this is by far the best case out of 5 (including the one Verizon sells specifically for the ZFolds). First, I liked that I didn't have to purchase a screen protector for the outside since the shell includes protection. Second, I like that the case adds minimal size to the phone but still feels sturdy. The case's texture makes it easy to grip the phone when closed and the hinge protector adds "gripability" to the phone while it is open. The hinge protector can open while the phone is closed but not easily (which is good). It also does not make the phone seesaw if you lay it flat while open. What seals it for me though is that the kickstand (which can be used with the phone open or closed) is really sturdy. It doesn't fold like a lawn chair if you touch the screen nor does the phone easily tip over during its use. The only CON is that the kickstand does get rather heated during the phone's extended use. Overall though, it is the best case I've purchased for the money. UPDATE: Everytime I drop my phone, the case cracks somewhere rendering it unusable. I'm on my 3rd case in less than a year.

I will keep this short. Pros: 1. This is a really tough case. It's well made. The texture will ensure it will not slip out of hand. 2. The kickstand is metal and will stay put. Again, good construction. It doesn't pop off easily like other case kickstands often do. 3. The screen protector goes on simply, easily and with no bubbles. Cons: 1. I have a Samsung SmartThings Station and it will NOT charge. The metal kickstand lifts the phone just enough that it recognizes the device and starts to charge, but the red charging light starts blinking and the wireless charging pauses on the phone. I've moved it all around the top of the Station to no avail. Not a big deal as I have a USB-C nearby, but at least on the Station, wireless charging will not work with this case. As some have successfully used a wireless charger noting the heat on the metal kickstand, your ability to wireless charge will definitely depend on the hardware you have. Keep that in mind. If this is important to you, put the case on your phone without the adhesives and see how it charges wirelessly on the wireless charger you have. If it doesn't work, return it. 2. The screen protector is great with one big caveat: You have to press down much harder and light touches and swipes are not recognized. That is really annoying. 3. The bumpers around the screen do a great job of protecting the screen in the event of a drop but makes it impossible to touch anything on the edges of the phone. If I have to edit text, I have to erase the last 2 characters as my finger won't go to the edge due to the bumper. Also...very annoying. 4. The case definitely makes the phone feel solid and protected but it also feels VERY heavy. The hinge protector alone is durable and solid, but the tradeoff is definitely weight. All in all, this is a tough case. I feel like I could drop it from 5 feet onto concrete and it would survive without a scratch. But the screen protector requiring a firmer touch, the bumpers making the edges inaccessible and the inability to wirelessly charge on Samsung's own Smarthings Station are real concerns.

I don't typically write reviews but when my husband placed his phone on the front of his truck, drove off and then ran over it, the case protected his phone 100%. The case was destroyed but not a scratch on the phone. I quickly bought him a replacement. The product lives up to it's promises.

When folded, typing on the smaller screen is less sensitive around the left side, i end up pressing on the keyboard for the left side keys. It gets really annoying when typing. It seems like the left side has a tint gap to the screen so you need pressure when typing ar rhe left side. Will not recommend.

Well what can you say. The fold is two phones on top of each other when folded. Add a case that will protect it and you have a very fancy brick. I measure about .75" thick with this case closed. It feels like I have armor on my phone now. Like I have a construction grade tuxedo on my very expensive gadget. That being said the case is nice quality and fits well with adhesive points to make sure it stays put. I have had no issues with the case staying on. It has fairly raised bezels on the front face of the phone and around the camera (the camera really feels like it needs this). I purchased the black faux leather. The biggest surprise is the hinge cover. The way it works is novel, and in my opinion, quite functional. It behaves kind of like a book end when the fold is opened partially or fully. This gives a grip point for holding in one hand (which is no simple task if you are lying in bed with it fully opened otherwise). The texture of the hinge cover also feels nice when it is in closed mode to grip. It is important I think to note that the hinge cover is the bulkiest aspect of the case and is not a removable piece at first glance. If you think you would drop your phone then you have that peace of mind. If you don't you should consider if the added bulk is needed for you. I am accepting that I now carry a 5lb personal defense device in my pocket from the future. The phone will not lay flat in this case open or closed (not that you are likely using your phone flush flat on a table on a regular basis). Either the book end hinge cover will leave it angled up when fully open or the stand area on the back will prop the phone a bit when closed on a flat surface. It is not a big deal but perhaps worth a note. The hinge cover does give it a nice small angle boost if you are going to prop it in half open on a surface for whatever reason like a laptop. The stand is very solid feeling and the correct length for the phone being so tall to stay stable. It can only be used when the phone is turned horizontal (opened or closed) which is the way you would likely use it to watch content anyways if you were to set it somewhere. This type of stand may not work best on anything other than a solid surface. Lastly a note on the built in screen protector: The protector seems nice, is clear, and touch works without issue. It does not seem to be oleophobic. Neither does anything about this phone without the case. Furthermore it is not recommended an inner screen protector be used, so glossy is just another part of the experience. If you don't like to ever see any smudges or shine this screen protector is not going to be checking that box. I plan on just cleaning the phone a little more often. Overall it feels smooth in the hand, functional, and decently grippy. It makes an already large phone feel ever so larger, but that comes with the territory. Buy if you have not been turned away by this point!
