I bought this to be able to swing my clubs at a pseudo ball in my small backyard. It works well for that. I am able to practice my swing without fear of damaging my surroundings with real golf balls.

My husband is already practicing on this chipping mat. He likes it and it is exactly as pictured. Great for practicing at home.

wow what a great matt! It is thick and both the short and long "grass" are really nice. Haven't used it yet but I can't find anything I don't like about it. Bought it for my grandsons to practice on. It will get a lot of use,

You got the fairway grass and then the little taller grass as where I usually end up.... lolThis mat work's just perfect with the foam practice golf balls I bought and it's a lot easier on my lawn. Paid 20 buck's plus tax and I'm very happy with it. Also it's very thick and sturdy and should last forever. Highly recommend it!!

I saw some reviews that said this wasn't sturdy. Well it certainly seems sturdy to me. I've taken probably 100 shots on it, and it's showing no visible wear. If you get under the ball it will leave green scuffs on your clubs, but those rub right off. It's just big enough to do the job, and when you're done with it you can fold it up and put it away. Works well on grass and on paved surfaces. You can shoot off the tee, rough, or fairway green - pretty much everything you need to practice your swing in the backyard.UPDATE - about 1,500 shots later, it is showing definite signs of wear. The big issue is that because I'm a beginner I hit a lot of balls fat - because of the small size of the mat, that results in me occasionally clipping the lip of the mat, sending it flying. I've done that a dozen or so times and I can see the lip is already starting to crack and peel. The grass part is still holding up pretty well so if you're not worried about badly mis-hitting then this won't be an issue for you, but I reckon this only has another dozen or so bad misses left in it before it completely falls apart.

The pictures and the description says you get a tee with this purchase and there was no tee.

My son needed something to safely practice in the backyard. I’m happy because I don’t have any divots in my lawn and he has an even spot to hit off.
