Would give 0 stars if I could
1 star (Christmas gift not working) Got this for my son and it literally won't hold a charge the moment we took it out of box. Literally stays on 0%. As soon as you take charger out the laptop shuts off. Definitely returning because can't use it Update January 2024 I did reach out to hp and they fixed the laptop and sent it back once it was fixed. So now 5 stars since it works

BEWARE: Laptop quit working after 2 months
BEWARE of this CHEAP laptop! UPDATE: Seller refuses a refund or replacement for this product that is inoperable after 2 months of use. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!!! My husband purchased this laptop in November as a Christmas gift for me. Seemed like a great little laptop, very light & easy to use. Yesterday, black screen!!! Spent 2 hours on the phone w HP support & another hour at Best Buy (HP certified service center) & basically the operating system is inoperable. How does this happen when the laptop is brand new???? Guess what …the last day to return on Amazon was 1/31/24 - exactly one week ago! I have messaged the seller & am hoping they will make it right, but have not heard back from them. My advice, spend a little more money & get a quality laptop that lasts longer than a few months

A nice, basic, inexpensive laptop that serves its purpose well. Big bang per buck, in my opinion

Drop Windows, go Linux, runs MUCH better.
I got the device with Win10 on it. Slow as heck, the camera would be too much for it to handle. I installed Debian Trixie on it and now it runs amazing. Brand new computer running like a brand new computer ought to! I'm a little bleh that it comes with eMMC, but I guess for a device I got at over half off and under $100, a five-year lifespan before going to a Knoppix with persistence USB isn't bad at all. It isn't my main anyway, but rather a second computer to my big hunk of a gaming laptop. As a computer science student, I use them together when studying, very handy to have an inexpensive side-device that I can get a lil intrepid with.

After many tries, finally was able to run Windows update.
Memory is 64 GB. The available memory was only 16 GB. To run a Windows update, the memory was not enough. It gave options for external USB use to run an update. After almost 20 hours of tries, it was updated. Later after disk cleanup run, memory free was 24 GB. This was bought like new and saved me $60+. I am glad finally updated to latest Windows update. It is working fine right now.

Disappointing Performance from a Brand New Computer — Would Not Recommend
Despite being a brand new device, this computer runs painfully slow. I expected it to be fast and responsive, but instead, it's barely usable for even the most basic tasks. One of the most frustrating issues is the extremely limited storage space — there’s barely enough room to install essential apps, let alone anything beyond that. Because of this, the computer often freezes, lags, or fails to open basic programs, which makes it almost unusable for everyday use. I’m genuinely disappointed, and I definitely couldn’t recommend this to anyone. A new computer should be able to handle basic performance needs without frustration. If anyone has suggestions for how to speed things up, I’d be very glad to try them — but as it stands now, this has been a poor investment.

El producto la verdad cuando lo trate de usar es muy lento. Solo abrí Word y al abrir otra ventana de otro programa la computadora se volvía lenta y se pasmaba no podía trabajar

El artículo qué es una laptop, desde el primer día que ka conecté, no encendió la pantalla, solo emite destellos luminosos. Y ha sido un problema su devolución muchas trabas qué si por la batería de litio, que el precio de envío ya qué es un producto de importación. He quedado muy defraudada en mi primer compra por amazon. Qué lastima!
