Bonds of London PEAR DROPS Flavored British Import (2 Pack) W/Bundle Bonanza Candy

I was worried that these might have that artificial chemical taste. The tart leans more towards sweet but still as close to that fresh juicy pear taste. I have to keep these in an inconvenient location or I could eat a bag in the afternoon, making my dentist rich.

These really do tast like pear. My whole family loves them

Just doesn't have much flavor of anything, pear or otherwise. Just a plain sugar drop.

Both bags had been slit open, probably by a box cutter when opening the larger box. The sweets were soft on the edges, broken for the most part, and stuck together. They tasted a bit stale and it was difficult to break them apart.I really like pear drops, but these were old and stale.

I followed the stars in looking for a hard candy and was very happy to have found these. Almost too happy as they're not cheap but darn, are they good! Try them once and you'll likely order more.

These are perfectly good boiled sweets. But they are not pear drops; they completely lack any hint of the 'acetone' edge that made actual pear drops pleasing to me. I mistaken bought three two-packs, and wish I had not. As I say -- they're hard and sweet and edible, but by no stretch of the imagination are they pear drops.
