Minimal loss of ANC with a good increment in comfort.
I have been using this on my Bose 700 for about 3 months now. I had previously replaced the ear pads with another ear pad that was very close to Bose originals -- nice and leathery, and lasted about 2 years or so. Though they were quite good with no loss in ANC, my ears would get hot quite quickly and since I was using the headphones in the gym, it would get sweated on, and it would therefore retain a... musk.Whenever I would see podcast videos or interviews, their ear pads on their headphones always looks very comfortable and soft, so that's how I came across this particular brand. I was a bit worried since multiple users said that there's a bit of ANC loss — while that is true, it is quite minimal (or maybe, I have untrained ears, haha). Definitely very comfortable. I have been using this at gym and sometimes at work also; it doesn't heat up my ear, and is overall a great experience!

Good replacement for the price but sound quality and noise cancellation are reduced
After 4-5 years of use, the one of the original ear cups on my NC 700 HPs started to split at the seam. Looked at the OEM replacements and $$$$$!!! Looked for alternatives and decided to give the WC Freeze NC700s a try. The cooling/breathable claims and high ratings were the deciding factors when comparing options.Installation was fairly easy. The original bottom pads were still fine, so I left them and only replaced the ear cups. It does take a bit of force to snap them in place. Was worried I'd break them, but after getting the tabs aligned and firmly pushing, they installed with no problem. They look fine and well made. The black matches the black of the headphones. Just looking at them, you wouldn't know they are cheaper replacements. The cups are taller than the original. If you store in the case, this may be an issue and cause a tight fit. Mine are on the desk, so not a problem for me.As for the cooling effect/breathability. I do feel a difference. The vinyl/pleather of the originals made my ears warm after wearing for awhile. The Freezes do not. The foam/gel construction is more giving/flexible than the originals too. The inside opening of cup is larger than the originals and allows more of my ear to fit inside the open space. As a result, they don't feel as tight or hard on my ears and I'd say that while is does feel strange, they are a bit more comfortable. I'll also note that in several of the manufacturer's photos, the 'waffle' pattern on the cups appears huge and looks like it might feel rough; it does not. The ridges look more pronounced in the photos because of the tight zoom. When wearing, I don't feel them at all. But, these differences do come with a cost in terms of sound quality and especially noise cancellation. Sound quality is definitely not as good. And noise cancellation is significantly diminished. I use the headphones primarily for work calls in a quiet environment, so these issues are not a big deal for me, especially when considering the value. If sound quality and noise cancellation are important to you, give them a try but you may find you need to stick with the OEM version. It is TBD how the cloth material will hold up to wear and if they will absorb more sweat and dirt.

Quality product with easy installation
How easy was that? My earpads were falling apart. Found these on Amazon and got them the next day. The product is well made and looks great! The installation video was easy to load and follow and the process for uninstalling the old pads and installing the new pads was quick, painless and the headphones have another life. Kudos to WC for making a fantastic, quality product and great installation video.

Comfortable, but ANC and sound quality affected.
The good: these are as soft as the OEM and are fairly comfortable. The fabric is not as rough as the photos make it looks, but it also does seem like it won't get shredded by my glasses, unlike the PU covering on the OEM earpads. The bad: Thicker pads make these a little harder to seat firmly on your head as the Bose 700 headphones do not have a tilt adjust. This means there is a slight sacrifice in sound quality unless you get them placed just right (sounds a bit like it's underwater) and the noise cancellation is less effective. As someone who is extremely sensitive to sounds this does matter to me.These are however the only ones I could find that have the fabric covering that should not get ruined by my glasses, so I am going to try and give these some time and hope they conform to my head better over time and work better. If WC looks at their reviews, I would suggest maybe offering a set like this with the fabric cover that is the same thickness as the OEM earpads for maximum sound quality, as the headphones do seem to be pretty narrowly calibrated for a particular ear cup size.**Update** I did end up contacting the manufacturer to ask about the sound quality, and was advised that while there will still be some loss of sound quality in trade for comfort with this set, they should eventually conform better to my head so in spite of being offered a refund (and having gone ahead and ordered another OEM set) I have opted to keep these as a backup pair and may try them later when I am not dealing with so much noise I need to block out and thus have more time and patience to break them in a little. I do recommend if you are on the fence to contact WC directly as they seemed more than happy to advise on which of their products would be better for my specific needs. So while the product didn't turn out to fit what I was looking for, their customer service is superb.
