Premium 3 Function Electric Hospital ICU Bed with Mattress & IV Pole.

Almost hospital quality. Side rails are durable. Lower rails don't tip horizontally when the feet are tipped, which is fantastic for using bedside trays. Good height - I'm tall and don't have to break my back to do patient care. Had to use a crummy rental bed in another location and it only reinforced how happy I am with this hospital bed. For something we use 24 hours a day, it's a great value.

I don't usually leave reviews but because this is an expensive purchase I decided to. I wish I bought this a year or two ago. It looks good and operates great. Makes life so much easier. I bought blue 60" side pads for 42 dollars also from Amazon(different seller) as well. They look like they came with the bed and fit the rails perfectly. Amazon delivered to the back patio. I probably should have had them put it in the living room(where it is being used). It took two men to move the carton into the house (the plastic ties broke and one of the men pulled a muscle so beware of that. It is VERY heavy). I also had them setup the bed which took much more than the 15 minutes some reviewers have mentioned. In my area there was no Amazon setup available so I had to hire people to do it. The only down side is the mattress. I laid on it to test it and it is hard as a rock. I put a different foam mattress on the bed but of course it does not have the folds in the right places to take advantage of the knee/leg movement. If you plan to use the mattress try it yourself before putting a patient on it. It would be like laying on a hard floor. I don't think even a topper would help that much. Other than the mattress I definitely recommend the bed. Fantastic price as well.

SOOOOO much better than the 1950's style bed Medicare was willing to pay for -- and good value for money. It took 5 people to get it into the house as the package weighed 275 lbs. Not being offered delivery/set up services when I purchased lost it a star. The Amazon drivers explained they could not put the package in my house. So I had them lean it against my front porch steps and called my friends. We managed to slide it up and into the house using cardboard from other Amazon deliveries (reusing before recycling). HEAVY but all 4 wheels lock and once in the house and assembled it can be moved by one person. Lots of functions, solid build, comfy, easy to use.

This was purchased for our 91 yr old mother who has Alzheimer’s. It is low enough so she can get in and out on her own. We can put the rail up at night for she does not roll out of bed. The rail on the other side giver her a handhold for repositioning in the bed. The mattress is very hard so we added a thick pad. I would recommend this to anyone. The price was fair and the assembly was fairly easy. I did have help. The box is very heavy. Be sure to have it delivered to the room where you will set it up.

Medicare wanted to give us a bed that I had to crank up to change my husband. I’m 80 years old with a bad back so I wasn’t going to do it. We bit the bullet and purchased this bed. it is worth every penny. This bed works exactly like the ones in the hospital. My only complaint is that the mattress is too thin (only 3 in ) I solved this by purchasing a 3 in hospital bed topper. Now it’s perfect. Highly recommend it.

If you have option to deliver to room of your choice get it for the extra $19. Bed comes with arrows on box and bed upside down to put on wheels first. Cut tie wraps take off side rails. Cut away all cardboard that you can. I could not lift it up so I used a strap from other side putting foot against base and pulled onto its side. Cleared rest of card board. Then holding strap from other side let bed drop to floor. Bed works well rolls well But mattress is like a brick, I cold not sleep on it let alone my wife could not, 1/2 the mattress is some type of wood and then 2.5 inches of dense foam. I spent another $400 on a new much better mattress sold on Amazon.

Perfect the entire bed raises so I do not have to bend to take care of my son, easy to assemble great value, good quality works great. love that it has the IV pool for tube feeding.
