I purchased this pan for my Niece, who’s inherited family baking trait and is currently working full time whilst studying full time at university for her Business Management degree.She needed a pick me up alongside a well deserved reward for her dedication to Educating herself and her work ethic the whole family is very proud of.I’ve owned my Nordicware Gingerbread house pan alongside many Nordicware cake pans for many years decades even. They’re simple, easy to use, and create a time friendly table centre masterpieces for busy people who can no-longer budget their time for cake decorating or their finances for sugary flavourless deserts.With this pan you will receive a cardboard sleeve with a lovely gingerbread recipe on the reverse, be careful not to tear the recipe. It’s delightful.To prepare the pan: I wash and dry the pan before using, I spray my cake pan with quick release spray or butter and dust with flour or cocoa.I bake simple sponges weekly for my family rather than waste money on shop bought. The cakes always turn out very nicely with no sticking and beautiful details (as seen in the photo showing dark chocolate cake) a simple dusting of icing sugar accentuates the beautiful design of the pan.Storing: I generally keep them in my anchor hocking glass cake stand or my kitchen craft cake stand or travel cake tin which I use to transport edible gifts to friends and family.I purchased all on Amazon. The cake keeps longer under glass and stays moist and can be kept for 5 days.To serve: I make custards, sauces to pour over dessert or icing to spread on the cake for those who like icing (which I store in a Tupperware container in the fridge).. I set a timer for 9 minutes after leaving the oven, that’s enough time for the cake to cool and shrink from the sides of the pan hold without the risk of cracking once turned out onto the cake stand and not enough time for the sugars to stick to the pan.I highly recommend Nordicware they’re my favourite cake pan brand.To wash: never in a dishwasher. As soon as the cake is turned out I fill the pan with hot soapy water and wash immediately by hand then pop back into the cooling oven after drying before putting it away.

LOVE this tin! I was watching one of Nigella Lawson's Christmas shows, and she makes a vanilla cake in a beautiful Christmas tree tin, also made by Nordic Ware. I Immediately started searching for the same tin online but could only find it in the USA and postage was extortionate, so I started looking at some of their other products and came across this little gem - I thought it was perfect for Christmas and for testing Nigella's vanilla cake recipe. I don't recommend using this without some form of cake release spray or gel (I highly recommend Wilton Cake Release) because there are lots of difficult-to-reach places in the tin, particularly at the tips of the trees and the pointy roof, but when I used the cake release it came out of the tin seamlessly and there was no trace of crumbs left in the tin! I've attached a photo of how my cake turned out (it is sprinkled with icing sugar), but please note that I didn't fill the cake tin enough so I didn't quite get all the trees in - you really have to get your measurements right! I recommend over-filling the tin and slicing off the bottom with a knife afterwards to make sure you get the full effect. The tin itself is a fantastic quality - I am a trained baker and it is the best I have come across. I now buy all my tins from Nordic Ware, where possible.

Very expensive, but worth the money. Every cake baked in the mould has turned out perfect. Only thing you need to remember is that it's going to be a big cake. My first effort was a gingerbread bungalow - still much admired! You need to bulk up a standard cake recipe. The instructions provided are in US cup sizes, so you need to go to Google to convert them to metric - Nordic, remember the rest of the world does not use US cup measurements!

This is a great quality tin with amazing detail. It is essential to prepare your tin thoroughly before use - I made my own cake release paste, used a pastry brush and fine paint brush to make sure all of the nooks and crannies were covered and added a fine dusting of flour just to make doubly sure. It's worth watching the YouTube video to get some tips on how to use these pans too.Already ordered two different designs and put another couple on my Christmas list !

I love this house baking tin. I made an edable village for the church at Christmas. This house was the centre piece. Everyone said how beautiful it was. This Nordic tin has such fine detail from every angle. Nordic are amazing and always give a free recipe, all of which are great.These Nordic tins arr6solid are solid and certainly made to last. I would recommend this beautiful item.

Very pleased with pan

Very heavy duty pan and works fantastically well. I got it yesterday and made two with ordinary sponge cake recipes. Can't wait for my grandchildren to see them tomorrow. Really worth the money. It's the sort of pan that will be a family heirloom!

Excelente molde, muy bien definida la forma, buena capacidad, se desmolda fácilmente siguiendo las instrucciones.Eso si al lavarlo debe hacerlo con cuidado y a conciencia porque pueden quedar residuos en las cavidades, me encantó

This is an excellent quality cake pan. Remember you get what you pay for. It is a good thick heavy pan that allows the cake to cook evenly and be removed easily thanks to its ingenious chimney bundt hole.You do need to spray the pan with oil or give it a good wipe with oil and dust with flour for best removal.

Les détails sont super beaux. À remplir séparément avant le reste. Bien graisser avant le remplissage ils se démoulent sans aucun problème. Je recommande.

Die besten Formen die es gibt. Qualität und fertige Produkte kommen super gut raus. Backspray einsprühen,dann löst der Kuchen sich wie von selbst. Habe seit Jahren die große Form und die kleinen(doppelt) Häuschen. Bild Geschenk Dezember 2023..TOP!!!
