Should these trees be able to thrive and produce fruit in Ireland? Also I believe the American persimmon tree is extremely large when fully mature?

I believe they will thrive in Southern Scotland but no idea about Ireland, At present my 'trees' are only a few inches high, so I cannot tell you about the finished height.
