Even though this kettle is somewhat larger than I expected it still looks good in the space it occupies on my kitchen counter. It is black, chrome-colored, and clear glass and seems to be durable having no noticeable rust spots with daily use. It functions perfectly and I am still amazed in the rapid heat up time and ease of use. The red light when heating that changes to green when ready is a neat feature, and I like that it has auto shut off after a while. The insert for tea leaves works well also although I hardly use it. Very pleased with this product!

We've been using this electric kettle for about a month. It heats the water quickly and otherwise performs as expected. There is no hint of corrosion. I removed a star due to the design of how the top portion is joined with the glass. There is an inner lip on the glass which naturally blocks the water from pouring. You have to pour at a higher angle than expected, so ergonomics is not the best. In addition, it makes it difficult to completely empty the kettle as you have to completely flip it over. I do not regret this purchase but would likely look for a different model in the future based simply on that inner lip.

Boils the water so fast. Red means it’s boiling. Green means it’s staying hot. The stay hot portion stays on for an hour. Then it automatically shuts off which is great because I wake up early and boil water for tea and oatmeal, but then it will stay hot for others to use. It hold a lot of water and I just keep reheating until I’m done…… I keep out the filter after I dry it for about 30 minutes…..otherwise moisture and steam build up on the glass. I feel like that could be an issue with bacteria/mold…..so I like to let it dry out completely before placing the filter back in. I bought this because my Sister In Law had one very similar. I like the glass option so you can see what’s happening on the inside. My former water heater was stainless steel and I came to find that without being able to see inside completely, mold and rust formed on the inside even though I dried it out thoroughly….I just find this to be more sanitary = safer. Nobody needs mold in their water.

Love it. Works well. Easy to clean. Boils very quickly.
