Extractor heat exchanger
This is a superb product. Allows you to extract air, but recover the heat and suck fresh air heated to your room temperature. Does what it says on the tin

Don't underestimate drilling the hole.
The extractor seems to work well. It is quite quiet except when a helicopter passes overhead and then it feels like you are sharing the room with the aircraft.if you have a way of creating a neat 160mm hole then installing this should present no problems.In my case, however, hacking a hole and then making good took several days. My walls are a metre thick and made of a kind of rough Cornish slate held together with lime mortar. It was a very dirty job.
