Kala KA-TG Glossed Mahogany Tenor Ukulele Bundle with Case, Tuner, Strap, Austin Bazaar Instructional DVD, and Polishing Cloth

Let me preface my remarks with this: I'm 70 yrs old and have NEVER played any musical instrument or learned to read a single note of music. I'm so new that I had NO clue how to use the Uke strap that came in the bundle (without instructions or a photo)! So I did the "logical" thing. I hooked the strap to the top of the sound hole and hung the uke from my neck lanyard style. Damn thing was waaay to long! After looking at other straps for sale on Amazon and a couple of How to Play videos, I discovered the hook goes on the BOTTOM of the sound hole with the strap going DOWN the face of the uke, UNDER the bottom side, and up the backside next to my belly with the neck loop going around your neck. If my uke could, it would probably run screaming from this rank beginner trying to figure out how to use this new gadget.I bought this on the recommendation of a friend who plays and it seems to be well made with decent features and the bundle includes a lot of "getting started" things, all for a reasonable price. Once I can break through the initial learning curve, I hope to spend many quality hours with my new uke.

The uke is exactly as pictured and described, wood grain and color are even better than the picture! Also, the hard case is impressively built and well padded. The sound is very smooth, even got compliments from my ukelele teacher!

The media could not be loaded.  The fit and finish was perfect. Very easy to play. The case and all the extras were very good. I would buy it again

The build of this Ukulele is great. It has a solid feel and is a beautiful instrument. The included DVD's are helpful and the case is nicer than just a soft-sided vinyl bag; it's not a hard case but it does have some material that adds extra protection. The sound is good but with one exception. The C string tends to vibrate and buzz when strumming. I'm not sure of the cause of this as I've examined the string and Ukulele and don't see anything out of the ordinary. I'm new to playing the Ukulele so maybe as I learn more I'll be able to address that issue. Other than that, it's a great instrument.

Love this little uke. It looks amazing and has a great tone. The gig bag is nice and not just a plastic bag with a drawstring like with other ukes. If you are looking for a good started uke, stop looking and just get this one. You won't regret it.

The hard case came in a different shipment from the uke for position reasons. The hard case is well made and sturdy.The uke itself is absolutely beautiful. I have a Kala soprano and this tenor has a much more mellow sound. (To be expected, it's a tenor.) What is stunning is the beauty of the wood and the finish. It truly is eye candy and a pleasure just hold, let alone play. I am absolutely delighted with this purchase.There was a delay in the shipping, so I e-mailed Austin Bazaar. A prompt repy was received with an explanation for the delay. Very good customer service. I purchased the soprano from them and had the instrument within 3 days. Also in perfect condition. Both ukes came with Aquila strings, which, of course, is a big plus..

This is my first ukulele. Having played guitar and bass guitar for over 50 years I want to try a ukulele. This seem to be the best one to get as a beginner uke player.Arrived in good shape. Package and protected well.The Ukulele is great. No dents, or other blemishers. Sounds really great. Nice round mellow sound. Turner works great and padded case is nice and has lots of room for strings and outside pocket is large for music books or sheet music.Overall a great buy!

Shopped a lot before I settled on this one. Liked that it came with a case, tuner, and extra strings. Arrived fast. Was exactly like photo and it sounds great. Great gift for a beginner but good enough for someone moving from soprano to tenor.
