Cute, Functional, Funny
Adorable. Makes doing a mundane job just a little more fun. Good bristles. My only complaint is that it is a little small. With adult sized hands, it can feel hard to get a good hold of while scrubbing the potato. I wish they made it a bit bigger.

My wife loves it
Got it for a Xmas gift - it works and is cute on shelve by the sink.

Great brush that dares you to get the clear cap off
This is a great little brush that is handy for vegetables. Bought a second one for cleaning high end suede and Nubuck leathers. Now a few words on the clear cap. I should explain that I have all 10 fingers and have worked on cars for many years. in other words, I have solid grip strength and I might even say a bit above average. The clear cap on this nice brush refused my many attempts to remove it with just my hands. Pulling. Twisting. Turning. Yanking. Pinching. And... all combinations of the aforementioned techniques. So now what? I have a huge variety of hammering, cutting, gripping and drilling tools... Could try fire---Nah? The winning option was to put the clear cap part into a vise and squeeze it - until the cap was, uh, removed. Fortunately, I had safety glasses, leather gloves and a full suit of armor on as the little cap shattered into countless bits of flying plastic. Both the brush and I survived cap "removal" unharmed. The brush has since performed all it's brushing tasks which a high degree of effectiveness and dignity and seems unbothered by being cap-less. Being able to dry quickly probably reduces the chance of mold, too. I had to rate at only 4 stars given the lousy design of the cap.

So Cute and Fun!
How cute is this little guy? I’ve had other potato scrubbers that work just fine, but I’ve never had one that was cute! Other scrubbers always went back into a drawer as soon as I was done with it. But this one hangs out on the kitchen sink, smiling up at me as I cook and clean. The bristles are standard and appropriately stiff and durable for cleaning potatoes. The shape of it makes it easier to grip than I expected. But really it’s the cute little smiley face that I love most.

Exactly what I needed, for a great price
I use a lot of mushrooms and other fresh vegetables, so a soft mushroom brush is important to me. This was quite reasonable, and has all the softness you could want for delicate mushrooms. It’s kind of cute that it resembles a mushroom. It is the perfect size, has a good hand feel. The handle is plastic, so no worries about rotting. I will not be using the clear plastic cover. I want the brush to dry out thoroughly between uses, and the cover is quite tight. In fact I had a momentary struggle to get it off.

Use heat on plastic to open for the first time.
The other reviews aren't kidding, this is a beast to open for the first time. Best way to remove the clear plastic cap for the first time (without destroying it) is apply heat using a blow-dryer, then use a rubber lid gripper to work the plastic cap back and forth in small motions. If it doesn't budge add more heat. Keep it up and eventually you'll get a satisfying pop, the lid comes off and a small plastic warning label will fall out. Once its open its great, bristles are gentle and get a good clean. And when setting the brush back in the cap its not difficult to open again. Good value, but difficult to open for the first time.

Great but way too small
I love how cute this brush is. It stands up on its little feet which is actually clever and functional, as water easily drips off the brush and into the sink. And the bristles are quite stiff and do a great job of scrubbing down veggies. I just hate how small it is. I'm a tall man with large hands, and this thing isn't very comfortable for me at all. The pictures don't do a great job of showing just how tiny it is (maybe 3-4 inches?) I would expect it to be about as large as a dish sponge but it's not, which means you have to scrub for longer in order to get through your veggies. But again my main issue is just the fact that it's way too small to get a good grip on it. I love this silly little brush but I would love it way more if it were actually comfortable to use.

This spud's for you
"Joe Spud" is so cute!! He makes the job of cleaning vegetables a bit more fun. The kids really enjoy when it's their turn to help in the kitchen and they get to use it. After we had ours for awhile, the eyes fell off but we glued them back on. The bristles are stiff so they do a great job. I think our first one lasted several years and our second one is a year old and going strong. No complaints here!
