I purchased the 250amp mp azzuno after I bought the azzuno 200 mp. I wanted to see if the cost justified it. I tried stick welding first. It won't run 6010 but will run everything else very well to include 5/32 rods. The mig is great. The syn function is very helpful. I haven't tried the tig option yet. Great welder. Would be nice to have an accessory and consumable parts list from Azzuno. Both welders I purchased are great welders. I just wished Azzuno would put out more info on parts and accessories. If they are going to compete with arc captain and yes welder then they need to do the little things like: Have a consumable parts list Have an optional accessory list Upgrade to a hub design for securing the mig wire Put a data cheat sheet on the inside door of the welder On the mig 250 maybe put a clear plastic door over the screen that can be raised when needed. The mig 200 doesn't need it because it has knobs instead of buttons like on the mig 250. Advertise more about their products. Send their products to some of the YouTube welding channels and let them review or do a head to head comparison with the competition (yes welder, Toolium, and arc captain). I think a lot of people would be surprised that Azzuno would do well. UPDATE: Dec 2024 Mig 250 I converted my Azzuno over to run .045 flux core wire. I purchased a wire feeder roller and bigger gun and this machine runs it very well. I placed the settings in manual mode and had to turn it down after a few passes. I welded for over an hour on 23 volts at 230 (what it showed on the screen) amps and never once hit the overload. I turned it down to 19volts and 180 amps and getting great penetration in 1/2 steel. I'm curious to see how long this machine holds up. So far I'm extremely impressed. Update#2 Apr 2025 Mig 250 I set this up to carbon arc gouge. Alot of "experts" say that you can't arc gouge with one of these welders and if you do it won't weld right afterwards. So I tried a 1/4 rod and it didn't burn very well. I switched to a 3/16 rod at 200 amps and it melted the welds away like butter. I gouged out a deep crack in 1/2 steel and it did great. I switched over and filled in the crack with weld and it performed great. This isn't a welder that you would put in a machine shop and dedicate to carbon arc gouging because it's not designed for that. However if you need to do it occasionally on small jobs it does great. Im still convinced this welder welds .045 wire better than .035. I run 19 volts and 6 on wire speed and the Lincoln NR 211 flux core will burn like a breeze. If I do end up breaking this welder ( I have been putting it thru it's paces) I would definitely buy another in a heartbeat. Update #3 May 2025 MIG 200 I purchased 2 of these and gave 1 to my son. He loves it. I'm sure that there are a few bad ones that get sent out but I have purchased 4 (2 mig 200, 1 mig250 and 1 155) and they all work flawlessly. The 200 is a fantastic welder. The instructions are very clear and easy to set up and use. The polarity cable is easy as well as loading wire. The feeder motor is smooth compared to other brands. Where this welder really shines is with stick welding. It won't run 6010 but will run everything thing else extremely well. I was primarily running 5/32 7018 since I had it and it did great. I saw where arc captain could run 3/16 rods so I tried it out on this. I don't know how many amps it is actually putting out, 3/16 rods are normally ran 190-250 amps. It's not supposed to be able to run rods that big but you have to turn it down to 170 amps to get slag peel. 180 is too hot. Lol this is an outstanding welder and Azzuno needs to advertise a lot better. Update #4 Aug 2025 Mig250 I wanted to see just how big of flux core wire this welder can run. I purchased a roll of fabshield 21b 1/16 and most of the amp ranges are in line with this welder. I purchased a mb36 gun with tips and a feeder roller set. I also purchased a wire feeder attachment and installed. This welder welds this wire just as great as the Lincoln innershield nr211 .045. there was no hiccups with wire feed and it had enough heat to actually burn thru 1/8 metal. I welded for over 2 hours adjusting wire speed and volts and this thing just lays it down. I'm extremely impressed with this welder. My next project with it is going to be the T8 1/16 wires. It should be able to weld on the low end of the amp range fine. Azzuno severely underrated this welder. If they would set this up for .045 -.062 flux core they could tap into a different market. This thing is a powerhouse and they won't show it off! Update #5 Nov 2025 Mig250 I purchased a roll of Hobart XLR8 1/16 and installed into the welder. The first thing I noticed was this wire is a lot stiffer than the fabshield 21b. It fed thru the mig gun fine and it will weld on the lowest setting on the amp range. There were several issues trying to weld this wire. It had trouble feeding the stiffer wire. I couldnt lay down consistent beads without the wire slipping. I really needed to turn the heat up to not have porosity but I was maxed out on the welder. This wire is designed to run at a lot higher amps and needs the dual roller feeder to be able to weld correctly. I didn't hurt this welder trying this and afterwards I loaded some 045 Lincoln innershield 211back into it welded it fine. This is still a fantastic welder and I found the limitations of it.
