Pretty good
Sweet mess tins. I got another locally which fits into it, so now I have 3 mess tins that fit into the one large one. Fairly sturdy ad lightweight. Nothing special but good enough reckon they will last a few years.

Cheap pair of mess tins.
Quality acceptable for the price = good value.

Does what it says on the tin
Pun intended. It's slightly ironic that they arrived before a much expensive sleeping bag and other equipment I ordered. Overall these mess tins are exactly like the issue ones. Nothing else to say. They're sturdy and I've used similar ones for years. They might be heavier than the more expensive specialised camping tins but they do the job and you can nail tent pegs with them.

Worth a look
Would be three and a half stars if there was such a choice. Last time I used these sort of Mess Tins I got them from the Army Surplus store when I was a teenager and keen camper. Seems well enough put together. Quality obviously no where near the ex Gov. Stuff but I'll give it a fair go. Metal seems quite thin but I will only be using them for the odd weekend picnic stop so they will probably last me for years. Cheap enough to recommend taking a chance and light enough to think about for the backpacker type camper.

Great items.
Fab addition to my camping set. Less fuss than pans and easier to pack and store.
