Cold water from the fridge to boiling!What can I say, I can see my electric bills dropping enough over the coming few months to have paid for this amazing kitchen addition. I'm thrilled and frankly gob smacked! Easily installed, very easy to use and temp control is right there as you touch it!Also looks stylish and takes virtually no space.

Plenty to choose from here but I decided on this manufacturer. Very impressed. High quality and looks swish in the kitchen. Very easy to use. Wish I’d purchased one years ago. Induction is the way to go and as usual with Amazon, delivery was fast and it was packaged safely and securely.

Hob over heats a lot from bottom and causes the fuse to blow and trip so bewareWe may have a had a bad batch

Arrived in excellent condition and on time,heats up very quickly. works well, would recommend.

This hob is fast to heat up water around 20 seconds saving energy while making favourite food and good price if your looking for a hob this one will not let you down.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙂👌

The Gionien induction hob is a quality made hob at 2800W that doesn't need to be wired in directly to the electricity supply. It comes fitted with a three pin plug suitable for just plugging in. It does however need to be fitted into the worktop ( full instructions are included in the box ). It's not a freestanding unit.Because it's an induction form of heating using magnetic field to create heat certain types of pans and pots will not work on it for example... Ceramic, glass, aluminium and stainless steel unless they have a magnetic base plate.You can use iron or - stainless steel with a magnetic base. There are a good variety of pans available to buy with magnetic bases designed for induction hobs if the pans you already have aren't suitable.The hob heats up quickly and is quite efficient. It's very easy to use just press the on button and select the heat setting and that's it. I especially like the fact It switches itself off after a couple of minutes not being used so I don't have to worry about forgetting to turn the heat off.One other thing to note is... With induction hobs you need to have the pan sitting correctly on the hot plate otherwise it won't connect to the pan so if you find its not heating just move the pan a little to centre it. I soon got used to it once I had used it a couple of times, now I know exactly where the pan should sit without having to move it aboutAs a 2800w plug in it's not as powerful as one that's wired directly to the power supply however it is more than sufficient to do it's job. It cooks well and is quick and efficient. I haven't had a problem with not enough power for cooking from this hob. It's been more than capable for everyday cooking for me.It also comes with full detailed easy to follow instructions.I'm very pleased with it and I am confident about recommending it.

Bought it in July and it has just stopped working after multiple failures before this!
