I was annoyed when I saw how tiny the bottle. is. But I opened it and saw it is a thick paste, one teaspoon is the serving size and there are ten serving in the bottle. I made a dish with broccoli tofu mushrooms in coconut milk. One teaspoon was the perfect seasoning and it was delicious! It is a little pricy at eighty cents a serving but everything is pricy now.

Spicy but not overpowering; great on chicken pieces (breast meat). Good with angel hair pasta or rice

It's sufficiently spicy rendang paste but lacks discerning flavor. Still I am glad to have it available if I cannot find better sauces to cook my rendang recipes. A tad too expensive for the amount you get in a tiny bottle.

Yummy! Made a lamb and eggplant rendang and it was soooooo good. This great paste made it easy to cook up.

love that it is organic but its not quite what you’d expect for sambal taste. first off it’s tiny. its slightly larger than those little jam or honey bottles you get with room service. it has a very thick pasty consistency and is extremely dark in color. the actual sambal taste is also mild to absent. Dollee Nasi Lemak sambal is a much superior taste but if you are looking for paste than this may work for you.

I’ve been searching for the most decadent sambal for a decade and fresh toasted sourdough, Rebel Cheese Brie & your Sambal had the whole house dancing around making yummy noises!!! Organic too.
