This product really helps my eyes

My ophthalmologist has required that I use this ointment. I can purchase from his office (expensive) or locally - but it is not cheap. This is the best price I can find and I'm glad to buy it.As with most Amazon purchases, it comes quickly and is well packaged.

Both my optometrists over the years have required me to put this in my eyes each night to moisturize them and reduce inflammation of my cornea. If your eyes feel dry and scratchy at night, you are actually harming your vision over time. The price of ophthalmic NaCl ointments have recently risen sharply, but this is a decent price. One tube lasts for a few months.

A cheaper alternative, however is it really a bargain when some of the bottles seem to have much less product in the bottle?

The product is as advertised, and it meets my total expectations.

This ointment helps so much. I use it every night.

Took my 14 year old Cockapoo to a veterinary Ophthalmologist to determine if she has glaucoma or any other condition that can be treated. My regular Vet hasn't the equipment to test for glaucoma. She had double cataract surgery when she was 17 months old, the breeder in Rusk,Texas having lied to me regarding having both parents' eyes certified "healthy".. No glaucoma but she has Corneal Endothelial Degeneration. Old pup disorder. Doc prescribed this and the solution to assist in the removal of fluid. No pain but extremely poor vision. This is apparently working...in addition, I ordered Lutein & have added flaxseed oil to her diet. I clean her eyes with baby shampoo every morning; then rinse with solution, then I put this ointment in, 2 or 3 times a day, particularly at bedtime. Slightly over a month after adding the Lutein supplement and the flaxseed oil (I always order Barleen's), I KNOW her vision has improved...she sees the cat again, uses the dog door easily & isn't having to keep her nose on my leg...lol...Thank you Amazon for having. all these products available..

We could not tell the difference between this and the name brand version. We started buying it when the other brand disappeared during the early days of Covid.
