Good antenna well made and does the job well and enhances the signal to my scanner.

Got the item was packaged with like glue stuck to the pole …it looked used dirty or old … in my opinion thought nothing of it until I put it up 30ft above the house didn’t pick up nothingI then Tried it ok I live 5 miles away from Liverpool airport and can’t pick it up that’s pathetic for the price also missing bolts and washers probably faultyyet I put my spare royal discone up after getting it out the shed and wasn’t even put up on the house and boom my own Ariel picked up miles awayI’d like a response of the seller or it’s going back for a refundPersonally I think it’s damaged or not correctly made just didn’t feel new

Poor signal quality with this item. Was put in the attic. So maybe this is why. Better erecting outside and high up. Defiantly no good for attic

Great little antenna

This is not a discone.

Very Happy with it, works well with my Uniden 125 Handheld and my small base Uniden UBC355CLT, Even work Fab at the Top of the stairs getting both the Controllers and Pilots.

This picks up less than my cb half wave which ist suitable for scanning . I'm very disappointed will be buying a discone next this is basicaly rubbish.

not great antenna for my BCT15-X Uniden scanner .. mounted on outside pole 25ft from brackets on top part of house , using mini 8 XXD Nevada coax !!! I live about 6 miles from GEORGE BEST Airport and 25 miles from Belfast International and can not pick up either control tower , I can receive the Radar and aircraft on flight path & approach , but nothing from either control tower , were as my scanking desk top indoor antenna picks them both up. ALSO Frequency does not pick up UK CBs or good coverage for marine . Not a DISCONENOW GOING TO PURCHASE ROYAL SCANKING DISCONE ANTENNA !!!THEN SELLING THIS SE-1500
