THIS BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX COOLER WAS DEFECTIVE WOULD ONLY TURN ON FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS THEN SHUT OFF AND WOULDNT RESPOND TO ANY FUTHER EFFORTS TO RUN UNLESS POWER SHUT OFF, THEN WOULD REPEAT THE SAME FAILURE AGAIN !!! SENDING IT BACK

If you drink wine, this wine is really a helpful product as it allows you to keep a bottle, unopened or opened, at the right serving temperature all the time. It has a 1-year warranty, and when it did not work after 10 months the company after an initial problem was quick to comply with its warranty obligations by sending me a new one. I recommend it to wine drinkers.

UPDATE: The manufacturer is very responsive and was able to ship a new unit that works perfectly with in one day. The replacement unit works perfectly. It cooled a room temperature bottle from 75°F to 41°F in just over 1.5 hours. This is a great company to work with, highly recommend the unit and the seller. This is only to keep a chilled bottle cool. We put a room temp bottle of wine in for 30 minutes and it is still at 75°F. Unfortunately the return window has past or we would be returning.

These have made me into even more of a wine snob - now I need to drink my wine at the right temperature, which I can do easily with the Cobolance wine chiller. For red wines, the best approach is to experiment between 14 to 18 degrees, although any cooling when room temperature rises above 22 improves the experience. Cooling can take a while, but is splendid for white wine and sparkling, as from the fridge these are too cold, but the Cobolance can be set to lightly chill (around 8 to 10) degrees, which is great for enjoying these wines and rosé. Customer service is excellent, too.

Great look for a bar, tiny but decent quality. Came on Sunday and we immediately put it in use at the evening party, and it worked awesome with its temperature control. Convenient and innovative product, all my friends got to know it the first time and they all impressed.
