FREE SOLDIER Men's Waterproof Hiking Military Boots

Wore them around the house today after my amazing UPS guy dropped them off. Put a better insole with a better arch in them. Very comfortable but really stiff. Pulling the laces right isn't easy. I'm sure they'll break in soon as I'm on my way to the southern border for a 2 week deployment.Update: Boots are wide. I ordered the wide width and they are great. However if you need them tighter you can't pull the laces tight. The boot is so stiff it won't allow the laces to pull the boot tighter. I don't find this as a big issue. If you have narrow feet don't order wide ones as you can't tighten them. Waterproofing is great. Comfortable for all day on my feet. I recommend them.

Kinda comforting. A little loose at the ankles. If you’re in the heat it’s gonna make your feet sweat. Let’s see how long they last. I’m putting my money on 3-6 months. I’ll update after they’re done with.

If you are looking for a hiking boot look elsewhere. ZERO input through the sole. The sole and uppers is firm and rigid.This is my second purchase of Free Soldier boots. The first set lasted a year until my new pup ate them. I liked the boots but hated the laces so I opted for this style.Pros: Water proof. Tread sheds debris. Good workshop or construction boot.Cons: Rigid sole and uppers, works fine working 10 hours in a metal fab shop. Stinks as a hiking boot.

These boots are built well, ward, good but open treads give stability but don't pick up stones, wear well. My 3 issues are they run small, I wear size 10.5 US but ordered an 11.0 wide. They are quite tight, want to order a 12 wide (if these ever wear out!) the other 2 reasons, the eyelets and laces, the lower metal eyelets have blunt corner edges on the inside lace guide points. First, they are tough to tighten, and after 3 month of "Partial" wearing, the laces are frayed and I can no longer tie them. I would like 2 pairs of new laces to get me through the year, but would like the eyelet design fixed to solve the issue, then boots get a 10 rating.

Mi error es que los compare con las botas UNDER ARMOUR porque tengo 4 pares de botas , sin embargo no se parece en nada a la comodidad.Estan bien pero algo duras para flexionar.

Feel I can leave these on a walk all day. I have purchased this same item 3 time and will purchase again when need arises.

Took awhile to break in but ultimately works well. Good shoe. I ordered a 2nd pair for work

The construction of the boot provides comfort and sufficient ankle support.

Muy buenas botas cómodas y es lo que esperaba gracias

Compré este articulo en junio del 2020. Les usoino todos los dias pero de mnera regular. Confortables, pie bien protegido pero sin nada de uso duro se empiezan a dañar, es decir a partirse. Ademas, el "revistimiento" interior es muy fragil y la tela al lugar del se roto muy rapidamente. Es una pena porque me gusta este modelo.

Boots fit perfect, comfortable, waterproof. Laces aren’t the best, mine ripped after a few weeks but just got a new laces.
