Quality Civics Posters That Respect Your Students' Age Level
As an 8th grade Civics and History teacher, I really appreciated the size, color, and weight of these posters. The content is clear and accurate, summarizing complex forms of government and economic ideologies in a way that’s visually appealing. The color scheme is much more suited to a secondary classroom. It drives me crazy when teacher supplies are only available in bright, elementary colors. The weight of the cardstock is good quality and the front is laminated. I personally wish the back was also laminated, but I understand they are easier to mount on the wall if the back is not slippery. I just think they last so much longer when the whole thing is laminated. I would rather have the longevity. The content is pretty well laid out. The writing on the bottom can only be read from a few feet away, but there's not really any other way to communicate that information on a poster - and my eyes are a lot older than my students' eyes. 😂 Overall, I'm very pleased with them and would definitely order again.

Great for my civics classroom
I got these for my classroom and think they are a great quality! The definitions are simplified enough in a way to help my middle schoolers understand the basics of each type of government/economic system. They're a great size and quality for the price.

Great visual aids for teaching the forms of Government. A+
These classroom posters bring me joy. They are perfect for middle schoolers who would be new to these styles of government, and also for high schoolers who can reference them for a reminder. The colors are vibrant and intense, the images are artfully done and are thematically appropriate for each form of government. Yes, these just sit on the wall, but they have more use than just as a passive adornment. They serve as a jumping-off point for discussions about politics, and using a common definition (provided in the text on each poster) helps to keep discussions productive, and away from arguments over definitions. The only real criticism I have for these posters is that they should have been laminated. The card stock they are printed on is great, but for longevity, I would laminate these before posting. OVERALL: A+ PROS: + Great descriptions of forms of government written in simple English + The colors are great, and so is the artwork + Visually appealing on a classroom wall + Can help to facilitate discussions in ELA or History / Social Studies CONS: - Not laminated

Awesome graphics, great information, good value
I ordered these for my history classroom and the graphic design behind them is awesome! Great size to make a collage. I think it's an excellent value for what you get, too, at less than $1 per poster. The information is good for high school or middle school students. The only downside is that they might get ruined over time. The paper is thicker, but I still opted to use the laminator at school to make sure they last longer!
