Was a great first for my 13 year old!

Broke the tip
On or around my 25th cast the rod broke off about 5” from the tip. Very disappointing, I really liked the action, and the reel seat. It casted well, until it broke.

Incredibly Light and Strong, and Telegraphs Every Nibble
I haven't used a graphite fishing rod for years, after my two favorites got stolen (a long story), so I got this to see how the new technology has improved. I absolutely love this rod, so much that I paired it with my favorite reel, spooled with 15lb braided line and a 17lb fluorocarbon leader! It has a fast action so it doesn't bend into a "C" with every small fish, I can feel every strike, nibble or bite, it has the backbone to land a big fish (soon), it has great balance, and it's comfortable to hold. Excellent rod for most fish, including finicky crappie!

Tip broke in 2 days
I had high hopes for this rod but the tip broke off in less than 2 days of use. I had to glue it back together and I’m hoping it doesn’t cause me anymore trouble but time will tell. The black and teal is really cute and the length is just right for me. It’s lightweight and way to fast as well. All in all, I probably wouldn’t buy this again.

This rod is impressive. Considering I’ve fished my entire life I’ve had my share of rods. This rod is very well made, durable, and looks fantastic. I appreciate how light weight this rod is. Also appreciate the stiffness to really get my lure out there.

Nice pole
This is a really nice pole it beat my expectations. It has a really nice cast to it. Also it is a nice sensitive rod but not to much so the feel is spot on. I am not crazy about the color but I can deal with that part of it when it is catching fish. I would say if you are in the market for a new pole this is a nice one to get and go catch the fish!

Well Made Rod for this Price Point
It's better than I thought it would be for an under $40 2 piece rod. It's got good back bone and casts well. The reel seat holds my reel nice and tight. Almost as sensitive as some of my one piece Graphite Rods. I'm very happy with this rod and do recommend it.
