Tails narrow well for basin tap
I'm not a fan on flexible tap tails, as I've heard a number of stories of them bursting and causing floods. These copper tails provide a safer "old school" solution for taps that come with screw in tails (I found Bristan taps did, but ideal standard and hansgrohe did not). The copper is very flexible and they taper nicely, giving plenty of room to install through the basin

Fantastic item
Just what we needed after searching high and low for the flexi pipes less than 300mm we came across this product and it was brilliant, fit perfect into the monobloc mixer tap we purchased. The fixed pipes from our wall were 200mm from the taps, the flexi pipe at 300mm caused a kink and the water flow was poor, fitted the copper tap tails and cut them to size and fitted into15mm standard isolator valve with ease, really pleased with this as a DIY person couldn't be happier headache solved.

Allows better pressure out of a monobloc tap
Having connected the customers tap with 9.5mm bore flexible connectors supplied the pressure from the cold was good but from the hot only just a dribble. Checked there were no kinks in the flexi connectors and the pressure was no better. Ordered these copper tap tails and the pressure was immediately acceptable. There is only about 50mm of the reduced bore on these so it lets the water through quicker. The tails are quite soft so I cut and joined the 15mm section to a piece of conventional pipe before the isolation valve. Take care when using a pipe slice.

Not bendable
I was looking for some soft copper tails as I don't like the flexible tails commonly used now as I have had one fail. Many years ago you could purchase soft copper tails approx 10mm or so. These could be filled to the tap, passed through the hole and then readily shaped by hand to where the hot and cold pipes happen to be.These are very well made and are a stepped copper pipe to 15mm. There are extremely stiff and there would be no chance of shaping them by hand after fitting them through the hole in the sink (they must be straight at this stage to get through the hole or to screw in from below. So a well made product but not practical for my need.If anyone is aware of the soft copper tails I have referred to above a link would be appreciated!
