My door is too low to the ground for the really thick door mats. This is that same rough material, good for getting debris off shoes but a lot thinner. I love it so much I ordered 2. One for me and one for my daughters home.

Would prefer larger
I have mine outdoors where there is a lot of rain and pine needles. It's holding up great. If there is a larger size I would have ordered it.

Basically a Welcome sponge
This mat would be best for covered porches or entryways. I used this on an uncovered deck and it just soaks up any rain or moisture, making it a soggy messy mat. I have to lay it over the railing to drain otherwise it becomes a glorified sponge. However, that said, I’m sure it would work great on a covered deck with no direct contact to the weather.

Great for the back porch!
Perfect small welcome mat for my back porch.I have had the mat for over 3 weeks, and it has survived heavy rain mixed with cold weather.

Did the job but...
This is a nice size and does the job. But I have had this for only 18 days and the "Welcome" is already wearing away!

Easy in a pinch
I bought this maybe two months ago and the "Welcome" is fading fast. It's cute, but it won't work for wet or dirty shoes.
