I was debating between the Nanit and another well-known sound machine and ultimately went with the nanit and am SO glad!Features I enjoy:- I have nanit cameras for both of my babies and it connects to the camera- tells you temp and humidity in the room, which brings peace of mind- can also serve as a sound monitor and works really well with that feature- build routines with start and stop times. One less thing for me to think about!

This light surprisingly works exactly how it is explained. My newborn took to the light very well. The different colored lights helps not to disturb my hubby in bed during late night changes and feedings. And the variety of sound effects even help me sleep better! With clock setting, routines, and even the weather, this device really is wonderful.

I ordered this on Amazon. Went to set it up just before putting my newborn to bed and I got an error message on the app saying “this device is registered to another user, please ask them to remove this device from their account or contact customer service”. WTH? Tried multiple times to make sure I didn’t do something wrong and lone and behold I kept receiving the same error message.Thought ok I’ll at least turn it on for the sound. NOPE. You have to be connected to wifi and their app to use this thing! They have total control of you with this through their app.What if you’re somewhere that doesn’t have good Wi-Fi? How do you turn this almost $100 sound machine on?! I was furious and planed on returning it but messaged their customer service to see what the story was with this. They had an auto response after I sent in an email saying they’d get back to me in 48 business hours.When they finally got back to me they said they would escalate this to their tech team. Another day goes by. Then I received and email saying it was fixed with this explanation : “sometimes the factory tests them out and they forget to remove them from their test account, and that’s what happened to my device” they apologized and said it was fixed.Too late. I do not want anything that I can only use with an app. I’m going back to Hatch. This company is controlling and shady. Don’t even waste your time.

We really enjoy the Nanit light and sound for its multiple sound levels and variety of sound options as well as the multitude of lighting intensities and colors. We bought this in hopes of training our baby to know when it’s appropriate to get up if he happens to wake up before a decent hour. We’re in the process but I’m hopeful. We like its ease of functionality with the app and that the control of our camera and sound/light machine are at our fingertips.

2nd baby coming so I ordered the sound machine to help my baby sleep. Very cool that you can control from your phone no matter where you are. Love all the sounds and lights. Perfect match to go with the Nanit Pro cam and accessories. Baby is safe and sound all tucked in crib. I absolutely love the whole concept and company. It’s the right fit for me and our little family. Everyone needs one!

We use this in the same room as our Nanit Camera, its nice and bright, and after some time working though its customizations, you can really make it your own. We have ours set up, so a single tap to turn in is very dim lighting for night time wake ups. When we double tap the power button, we get a full bright light, 3 taps gives us white noise. It’s all very customizable, and it has a battery!The battery feature has made it so we take it with us as an audio only baby monitor when we go to friends’ homes where we expect our son to nap. After connecting to a new WiFi network, it works very smoothly.My only wish is that the power was connected through a contact base, so it could easily be picked up and moved with one hand without needing to unplug it first.

This arrived really fast and was nicely packaged—feels like a high-quality product right out of the box.The app makes it super easy to control the sound and light (no need to sneak into the room!), and I love how customizable everything is. The white noise and soft light combo is really calming and make it easy and safe to step into a dark room.Setup was quick, the interface is simple, and everything just works. Overall, great addition to the nursery—we’re very happy with it so far.
