the box it comes in his huge and heavy- as expected, it’s metal. You’ll need someone to help you move the box to where you’re going to build it- or you can be stubborn like me and drag it around and slide it up/down the stairs alone and risking a back injury.That said- it is SO SIMPLE TO BUILD. I’m just one person, and I was able to put it together in about an hour. I recommend having a decent amount of space to spread out the parts to make it easier. It comes with a screwdriver which is all the tools you’ll need. For the first three steps of instructions I’d suggest having something to hold the side walls after you attach them because the screws won’t hold it right until the next step where you add the support, (i used a vacuum to prop it up against) after that it’s smooth sailing. The bottom shelf is optional, so I could take it out if I wanted to hang some thing longer than shirts. I live in a basement studio that occasionally gets some water in heavy rain and I’m sick of my wood furniture getting ruined. This is perfect, it doesn’t LOOK metal, and will definitely hold up. It’s nice and sturdy.My smaller parts (screws etc) were mislabeled, but they were all there- do a quick inventory to match the bags with what they’re supposed to be (P was labeled O) Easy enough to match the picture with what you have and figure out. I’m already considering buying another!

Great locker, easy to put together for one person and decent for the price will probably get more additions. Great for garage shed or basement man cave in my case.

This cabinet was EXACTLY what I was looking for. I wanted a cabinet with storage and an area for hanging clothes - much like the locker we used to have in High School - but BIGGER. The cabinet isn't the sturdiest - the gauge of metal is thin, but it is well thought out AND packaged well so it doesn't cost a fortune to ship. For degree of difficulty to assemble - and I'm very mechanical, work on all my own cars, household, boats, motorcycles, etc - this is about a 6-7 in difficulty out of 10. Not the easiest for sure - but the instructions are ACCURATE - which helps a ton. One of the problems in assembly is that the fasteners are in REALLY tight areas most of the time, and must be hand tightened 90% of the time due to the fact it's hard to angle and get into some of the areas with a Dewalt or other type electric/battery tool. The other problem is that the back panel of the cabinet comes in two sections, vertical halves - which I'm sure they did for packaging reasons. If you look at most cabinets this size, almost all the back panels are one piece, which does two things: makes assembly much easier AND adds a lot of sturdiness to the cabinet.Overall - I'm 100% satisfied. I use it in the garage to hold my motorcycle gear and special motorcycle tooling/maintenance items. BUT - this is NOT a Gladiator or other top end cabinet - and it doesn't have their price tag either. I'd give it 5 stars but want to mislead anyone that this is a top tier cabinet at this size for $ 170.00 bucks. It's not - but it doesn't cost $ 800 either. One last thing I added to the cabinet was wheels on the bottom so I could roll it around easily. It comes with 4 "pegs/screws" that you adjust and level with it, but I like to move the cabinets so I can rearrange and clean under them. I used two small dolly's that I got from Harbor Freight for cheap - and they work perfectly.

Love the closet, though unfortunately it sustained dents during shipping. Was disappointed and decided to keep it due to not going through the hassle of returning it for another one. But something amazing happened. After posting my initial review the seller immediately made contact and did everything possible to correct the situation and make sure I was completely satisfied with my purchase although it was the shipping company that caused the damage. Satisfied is an understatement compared to how I felt with the sellers customer service. It's a great product sold by great people. Would definitely buy frome them again. Highly recommended!!

Got everything out and started to get it together. The pieces do not line up correctly. And it is difficult to hammer in part T. I busted my nail. Not a good purchase.

This cabinet is very good. This cabinet is perfect fit for our basement area for my hubby work clothes. It was very easy to put everything together, perfect for storage, good quality for that price and planning to buy another one.

It is pretty well made, the instructions were reasonably good but a couple places where they could have been clearer, and the adjustment feet work surprisingly well, that feature I like a lot.I want to draw your attention to the depth. That 17.7" depth is an exterior dimension. Typical plastic hangers that are among the first you see when you look them up in amazon are 16.7". Common hangers are 17-18" wide. Even the 16.7" hangers are too wide when you consider the presence of some supporting metal structure inside the closet, and if you hang a jacket, no matter the thin-ness, you'll be right at the available depth of the closet. "Oh, but if I don't overstuff the closet, the hangers will turn a little diagonally and I'll be fine". No you won't, because those plastic hangars can't turn much on the thick bar. If you buy this closet, buy some 15" hangars to go with it. Trust me. Thus sayeth the voice of experience.
