Update: March 30th 2024It has been 5 months, and unfortunately the battery is no longer holding through even one round of straightening. I charge it fully when it dies, which takes over an hour. And than begins to die after about 20 minutes which takes about 5 just to heat up. It also does not heat up well enough to straighten anymore, even at the highest setting. Within those 5 months I have only used it a handful of times.I must also mention that my hair is no longer as long as it was in the picture from my first review. It is now at shoulder length. Was great while it lasted.Review from oct 2023:First I just want to say, ignore the bad reviews! I have a feeling people that are dissatisfied with this may not have even read the instructions.BUT ANYWAY, if you are thinking about getting one, BUY IT! I hesitated for weeks on buying this because of people’s negative reviews about the battery life. Which is a huge deal for something that is cordless and its soul purpose is to be a portable hair straightener lol. But I figured hey, if it’s true…I can just return it.First, look at the packaging! It immediately feels like it’s worth the money and I don’t even find $50 to be a lot for a good hair straightener. Packaging was beautiful.Following the instructions, I charged it for 2 hours before use. Read further instructions on how to correctly utilize it for my hair type. I was so excited to test it out! My hair is thick and wavy and usually takes a good 30-40 minutes to straighten. This took me maybe 15-20 minutes! I sectioned my hair and basically brushed it through my hair like I would when brushing and it straightened it almost effortlessly! It did not die, nor is the battery close to dying!! I love love love it! This was the first time, and so far so good. If I run into any issues, I will be sure to update my review! But for now, this was an amazing purchase!! :) highly recommend!

I purchased this product and receive on the 1st of March 2024, I charged it and it worked the first time I got it. I even got to use it a second time. Charging was fine. I put it away since I really wanted the item for when I travel. It came with a nice pouch and its really awesome, when it worked. Its the 7th of June and I was rushing to the office so I charged it and when I got to the office, I tried using it but it was not warming up when I turned it on. The lights were blue and it all seemed ok with the exception that it will not be hot not even through the highest temp, actually it will just turn off. Needless to say could not do my hair at the office. (Big mistake). I got home charged it again, left it charging, it seemed to be completely charged and when I turned it on it will not warm up. So I don't know if I got a lemon, but unfortunately my 30 day return is over and I am out of money, and product, believe me the item is not cheap. So I really can't give it the review I thought I would. I wished I would have used it more often, because if this was going to happen it would have happened during the 30 day return and I could have probably gotten a new one. Hopefully, this will not happen to anyone else. The risk you take with items that don't have longer guarantees.

I love this product and have traveled all over the world with it in my hand carry. I encountered no problem until I traveled domestically from Auckland, New Zealand to Wellington. This was confiscated because it was a dangerous item. I was informed that even If I had put it in my checked in luggage, it would have been confiscated. So, I am hesistant to buy another one if I cannot travel with it. Please tell me, what can be done.

Hello, this was a mother's day gift from my husband. Just got it today. As you can see in the 1st picture my hair that's down is straight with the brush, the top have is still my natural hair...I had to stop and put the brush back on the charger....I did exactly what the instructions say. Let charge for 2 hours, part your hair in even strands etc and I'm like 20 minutes through and it's dead. I had to plug it back in to charge...me personally I think I could get my hair done faster with my straightener that I have but this heat up brush is definitely good for just a quick touch up. Wouldn't recommend using it to straighten the whole head of hair unless it's short and a 10 minute done thing. My hair as you can see is long, curly and think so definitely not good for a whole head of hair. Will definitely travel with it. But won't use it again to straighten my entire head of hair with it. It takes me 45 minutes to straighten my hair with my regular hair straightener. This is taking me a lot longer. Also I do not have a problem with it charging or heating. Just the fact that it dies to quickly. Hope this helps anyone else looking to buy the product...the last 2 photos one I just woke up from the 2nd one I used the brush to touch up my hair and it worked amazing...I let the brush charge all night long...I'm gonna try and use it again on my full head with a good charge and see how it goes but looks like it's really just made for quick touch ups when your out and about.

Not for corse hair

I had this product for less than 10 months before it stopped working. Before that I absolutely loved using this to straighten my daughter's morning hair before school. It was easy to use, heated up quickly, and straightened her hair quite well. However, she always ended up with static and I could only get TWO up to 10 minute sessions out of it before I would have to charge it again. It's not quite as lightweight as one would expect for a travel item, but I never traveled with it so it didn't matter to me. I was really disappointed in the battery life and then devastated when it stopped working altogether.I did contact the manufacturer through Amazon and after 2 months of waiting, I finally got a replacement (since it was under a year since purchase). I am truly grateful that I ordered this through Amazon so that I had all the details needed to provide to them for the replacement.
