This ball looks and feels like a real baseball, but reacts like you would never expect. Its unpredictable bounce pattern enables you to improve your reflexes and fielding ability.

We'll see
Was a gift for my nephew. He is a great hitter but fielding still needs some practice. Hopefully this will help.

Great for training, but be smart with it
We bought this ball for our 8-year-old who was "playing as a 9" in Little League. We've used it for some infield practice and as a way to concentrate on keeping hands soft and improving reaction time. We'll frequently pull it out and use it in the yard.Note that it's not for hitting. We use it by rolling/throwing grounders. Hitting with it can cause real trouble, as can throwing it to kids who expect it to behave like a standard ball.

Great for fielding
This is a great tool for fielding.

Some wobble, some don't!
These balls are hit or miss. I now own 6 of them for my team to do paired up barehand and pancake glove work, and of the 6 I have 3 that wobble a lot, 1 that wobbles a little, and 2 that don't wobble at all. So it seems that the off-center center of gravity, which is what makes it wobble, is inconsistent from one ball to the next. That being said, the ones that do wobble are great for building hand-eye coordination!
