This sound machine has amazing sound quality for being so small. It easily clips on to everything making it very travel friendly. My favorite feature is that even if you forget to charge it, you can still use it while it’s charging. I like the different sounds as well - the dryer and rain sounds are some of the best. Just be aware that it comes with a charging cord, but not a charging block. I hope this little sound machine will last a long time!

This sound machine is AMAZING! We love Hatch products and have had a hatch light in our home for 5 years, we have one for almost every room of the house. My family was getting to go on an airplane trip to another state and we decided we didn’t want to risk damaging one of our larger hatch lights and so we found the HATCH rest to go. This little sound machine is very powerful it it’s slightly softer then the traditional hatch light that plugs into the wall but it does the trick. We purchased this in the color ‘putty’ as we like to keep things color neutral and it is true to the color in the photos. The quality is immaculate for such a little speaker as well as the functionality it is very intuitive and easy to use. To turn on once fully charged you just hold the center circle and then from there can turn up the volume with the (+) or tune the volume down with the (-) to cycle through the 10 different sounds you just push the circle button in the middle of the (-) and (+) and choose the noise your little is used to. To turn it off you simply hold the round button until it shuts off. The charge last for 15 hrs and works great while traveling and needing a small device that fits in a carry on without taking up a lot of room. This speaker seems extremely well made and durable, although it is not water proof, it has such a luxury feel to it this will definitely last a long time if taken care of. It does not have a timer feature once it is turned on it goes until it dies or until you turn it off. This doesn’t come with a block charger for the wall only the cord that connects to the sound machine with a usb connection to plug into a block for the outlet. It is about 3 inches in width, and comes with a neat little ring clip that 2 and 3/4 inches wide to attach to a stroller, car seat, purse, diaper bag, belt loop or what have you. Not only is it super cute, small, durable, reliable, and convenient, but it gets LOUD! I’d say probably almost as loud as the true full sized hatch (we have both). It works amazingly well. The battery life is long, as they claim - it truly works for a good 15 hours straight. We’re currently using this as the main sound machine for my youngest (have been since February) and it’s been amazing. Way less expensive than the full sized hatch and almost as good!

Forget the “Shusher” BUY THIS instead. We went through 4 “Shusher” sound machines as well as two other brands with our first born. None can even compare to this. The battery life is amazing! We took it with us to the hospital and used the heart beat sound the entries time our newborn was in his bassinet the first few days. Then attached to his car seat for all car rides and striker outings. We have used it so much and only recently had to charge it for the first time (our baby is 4 weeks today.) The sound quality is no different from the hatch light and not only is the battery life excellent the volume is great as well. The buttons are super easy to use especially when holding a child or doing in the dark. I was a bit worried about the connecting / attachment ring but have found it easily to hook on to anything we need. I also love that it dosent shut off making it last long rides or entire nights. We also use the Hatch light at night for both our kids and when we travel would always take it with us. Now we can just bring this one and save so much room in our suitcases. Do not waste money on other portable sound machines. Get this one!
